Strength & guidance for building the relationships I dream/vision myself in
I have related to each story I heard. I’vestarted the couples therapy 2 month ago. So fare I’ve got more from this audio book (it feels I got all I needed actually!). I got the clarity in my situations with my partner how I want to be, where to focus, how communicate what’s important to me & how to listen/hear out my partners needs. It was very much freeing for me to hear the first’s & the last’s couple’s situations. I’ll listen the book again & again. It gives me the sense of the grounded, the empowered me when I can find the way to create in my relationship with my partner the trust, vulnerabilities openings, the understanding & compassion to move forward as long as we both choose to. Thanks so much 😊

Captivating
It has been such a privilege to get to hear these intimate experiences of various people handled with such nuance, compassion and reason. Although I am only 20 and not in any form of a romantic relationship, listening to this has enlightened me more about the intricate nature of human relationships.
Thank you Esther and all the people involved.

I am a relationship therapist and find Esther Perel inspirational.
As a multi lingual therapist with multicultural experience her dedication to the work she does is inspiring.
Her wisdom and understanding of the patients here is wonderful.

A forensic investigation of dysfunction
This series is enthralling. The second episode in particular, I was on the edge of my seat the whole way through, it was so intense . It’s like listening to a seasoned interrogator use empathy and guile to unearth a couples deepest secrets and untangle decades of miscommunication in minutes. There’s a new catharsis every five minutes- it’s almost exhausting, how good she is.
Everyone should listen. We all have something to learn from this.

Thanks for the insight
Although the couples experience is completely different from mine, there were many valuable, emotional things I carried away from it.
