I m not sure why I chose this book, but am so glad that I did. I hardly ever watch tv but sometimes catch bits and pieces of the Breakfast programme as my husband watched it daily. Definitely remarkable people.

When I saw this book, I had no idea just how I would feel as the book progresses. Dan Walker hasn't been on my radar as don't really watch TV in the mornings, but this book has had me laughing and crying in equal amounts. A stunning book of personal lives, Dan, this is a stunning piece of work!!!

Having Dan in my ears every morning this week as I walked the dog has been a joy! Amazing stories of remarkable ordinary people, I have laughed and cried in equal measure. Loved it and am inspired to talk less and listen more. :)

This is an incredible book. Dan reads this with such emotion and dedication to each story he is telling.
I have never written a book review before, but once I downloaded this on Thursday, I spent every opportunity I had to listen to it, and finished it on the Sunday.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for that little bit of light at the end of the tunnel during this dreadful year of 2020.
Thank you Dan Walker for writing this incredibly touching book. I loved it. xx
