Summary

Those who are in the unenviable position of living or working with a narcissist have learned by sad trial and error that they are the only one in the relationship who can change the dynamic. Certainly narcissists don't think they need to change.

Enough About You, Let's Talk About Me is a hands-on resource for helping colleagues, families, and spouses deal with people who exhibit narcissistic tendencies by learning how to change their own attitudes and responses.

very practical things to do to set boundaries

I really enjoyed this book as it tells you exactly what to do to deal with narcissistic people but also how to set boundaries in general with people. My mum did not fit the criteria but it was very enlightening for many other relationship in my life. I took some notes while reading to apply the teaching. there is a bit of religion in it but it does not distract too much from the message of the book. moral of the story, you cannot change people, only yourself. this books tells you how. it was nice to have my anger validated and not feel ashame of it.

Life Changing!!

Literally a life changing book ! If you are trying to navigate dealing with a difficult person or relationship dynamic and you think you’re the one going crazy and can’t see the wood for the trees you need this book in your life! It makes you not only see the things you’ve missed or dismissed but also the part you’ve played and gives such an insight into how YOU can focus on you and better yourself. I will absolutely be recommending this to everyone I know and will be buying a physical copy to read and make notes.

You can not be born with sin

You can not argue that sin is the reason for narcissism in children. That tantrums are a marked and damaged soul is insane.
