About this listen
Unlikely allies uniting across the world. Blood feuds that span centuries. A single chance at life.
The world watches the sky with trepidation. The insanity of Xenocide knew no bounds, and all will soon suffer the effects he had planned for a millennium. Though none know what is to come, they all know it isn't going to be easy to survive.
The Master has a plan, one that can give the world at large a way to escape the onrushing desolation. It may be on the bleeding edge of morality and what he needs might prove too difficult to secure, but the Master asks for trust.
Cal and Dale both have their role to play as the world hurtles toward destruction. One needs to bring the races of the world together while the other simply needs to survive. Surrounded by supposed allies, the duo will do all that they can to succeed - but with every new arrival comes rising tensions and faltering trust.
The apocalypse is coming. Will honor or greed stand the test of time?

Great as rest of the Serie
Story was as captivating as other 4 books were. I really enjoyd storytelling and how it finnished story.
Didn't really like reader. All female characters sounded manlier than male characters. Couldn't really distinguise characters from each other. My mind always tried to hear voices from the previous books narrator.

Decent story, but I missed Vikas Adam
The story is decent, but the new voices messed up the experience for me. A lot of characters had suddenly new personalities and voices which was a bit of a blow. I would not feel fair to give lower than 4 to either the story or the narrator is ot was decent, but it is a close call. I assume I can't handle change.

Awesome story, not great narrator
I really enjoyed the story. Wish another book would come.
I managed to get over the narrator change but the female voices and accents of the new narrator were just terrible for me.

another good book from dekota!
So I have been waiting for what seemed forever to get this it's finally here so I downloaded it started to listen all excited to finally start it and it's not nick podehl wtf is going on all the characters that I'd built up in my mind was shattered I nearly couldn't listen can't believe that dekota would get some one else to do it. Overall Luke Daniels did an ok job it was passable but I would have rather waited another year and have nick podehl do it so for this I can't give full stars. Next time dekota get the right man for the job!!

Different narrator
This book has a different narrator then the other books of the series, it ruined the emersion for me at the start. I lost the connected feeling I had with the characters.
After getting used to the narrator and the random Russian accent its was okay.

narrator adjustment
Book was just as good as the others in the series really one of my favourite litrpg/dungeon series along with the other. was an adjustment to get used to the new narrator and his different accents for the voices but I think if anything he is a better narrator. Would be good if all the books could be re done with the same guy just for continuity for new listeners as it does take adjustment. both the narrators have their different strengths. I can see why he went his own way rather than just trying to imitate the other guys voices as it probably would have sounded more wrong if hed done that.
Its a shame the author had to do this but I love his books and will continue buying them as soon as they come out. on audio if you have to change the narrators again so long as you get someone as good I'll adjust. Really looking forward to the next completionist books

Good Story
Pity the narrator changed from the other 4 books. This narrator is no way in the same class

Lovely story
Very nice story, but the voice actor has a lot to develop, especially when it comes to female voices. Would have been nice if there was some consistency, or attempt at consistency from the previous voice actor in the prior books.
