Rick is making a sci fi fan of me
Not a natural sci fi reader but I like light military stories. This series is read by a great narrator and I found the books easy to listen to and engaging enough to want to know what would happen next. If you are unsure, I recommend that you give them a go!

Worth a listen!
Easy to finish and a good narrator brings the characters to life. Worth a listen for a credit. Now just got to wait for the next books to be released on audio..

Vicky went woke
Did the author get a new feminist GF? Vicky became an easily offended domineering feminist. LT became kind of “emotionally vulnerable “ and put up with the chip on her shoulder. And of course, we get a same sex couple thrown into the mix.

This book sucks
I enjoyed the first four books of the series. It was amazing. This is rough. They completely changed the characters. Vicky is no longer sweet and caring. She’s a raging bizzo. Cameron is full of self-doubt and second guessing his every move. Really trying hard to get through it hoping it gets better. We shall see. Performance is stellar as always.

Solid way to end series…
I have to say that I am pleased at the way this story concluded. From the beginning I had concerns because I thought the story was a little all over the place. However, book after book it got progressively better. Solid recommendation.

Books 5-8
Series started out just ok. Books 1 and 2 were a little lacking in substance during battles, but books 3-8 were great. I just hope the rest of the series will get added to auditable books.
