Summary
You know that saying, things can’t possibly get worse? They always can.
I thought I’d reached a whole new low the day I ran from Bellerose. The day I was snatched by mafia goons, beaten half to death, and left wishing they’d finish the job.
But then an Angel saved me.
His kind of salvation wasn’t the freedom I’d been hoping for, though. Two months later, I’m his prisoner in the gilded cage of his home. His pregnant mistress.
Angelo Ricci—my Angel—holds my life in his hands. He’s both protecting me, and condemning me, and if his father ever discovers our secret deal then death will be a blessing.
I’m tired, and scared, and don’t know who I can trust. All I know is that I miss the boys of Bellerose. Grayson and Rhett still hold parts of my heart, even if I could happily kick Jace in the nu… face. And Flo? She’s dead to me.
Literally.
Like, dead dead.
Wormfood.
Fate takes a turn in my favor when Bellerose gets a new owner, and an unexpected opportunity to reconnect with the band is forced on me. Getting locked in a secluded farmhouse with the guys who think I left them for my abusive ex sounds like a recipe for bloodshed, but I don’t get a choice in the matter.
Except, this time I’m not going alone. Angelo is tagging along, and seems determined to cause drama. Somehow we all need to make it out alive, but that should be easy enough, right? After all, I’m Billie Bellerose.
Dirty Truths is book two of four in the Boys Of Bellerose series. This is a mafia/rockstar reverse harem romance series with dark elements and gripping cliffhangers throughout. Content is intended for a mature audience. Please consult the warning at the front of the book if you have any content sensitivity.

The best cliffhangers!!
This series is such a blast. The storyline has such intricate interweaves of detail with the characters back stories. You get so much raw emotion from the trauma in their pasts the story keeps growing and getting crazier. I was yelling at the end lol The narration I am as always blown away with Lucas and his ability to transform his vocals into so many unique characters. Brooke is the same as well. There is care to create differing voices to give layers to the story. On to book 3!

I am loving this series
Tate James and Jaymin Eve have three great tropes in this series. Mafia, Rock Star, and Why Choose. Who could ask for a better mix? Brooke Daniels and Lucas Webley are amazing together. They bring the characters to life.

Yes please, Boys of Bellerose!!
Another great listen, the development of the story is wonderful. Loving every bit of what of this, I've found myself spacing out as I listen. Each of these men are great in their own right but now it's becoming more difficult to pick my favorite. Both Rhett and Grey then you bring in Jace and Angelo...Sheesh what is a girl to do.
I am here for all of it, who knew I needed a rockstar or 3 in my life! LOL
Already downloading #3, ready to start before I can even finish my review!! Great series.

Don't hesitate to get this series
I absolutely love the duet style narration. It really brings the story to life, and these 2 are wonderful, its easy to tell when they are voicing the different characters. This is one of my favorite series. I both read them and bought the audiobooks.

Man could have been epic
The first one was a typical Tate James success even if Billy is a total damsel in distress unlike other Tate James books which star really strong and put up fight female badasses, but this one… repeat of stories, too much whining … and seriously, the field sex… ugh, left me with my skin crawling in an a really uncomfortable way, and I bloody love gore romance, but sex just a few short mins after watching someone so close to the primary characters being murdered… doesn’t fit the character development of Billy who is so
Damsel in distress weak with giant heart and empathy. Didn’t sit well with me.
I adore Tate James in my top 3 authors for sure and I’ve listened to every book she’s written and this is the last series I hadn’t explored… left me
Feeling… unsatisfied this time. Hopefully book 3 that is already downloaded and ready will salvage this series for me.

Felt like a filler
While the audio performance was great, this book did not deliver. It felt like we started over with the story with different tropes, hopefully the story improves in the next installment.

Lies and cliffhangers
The ladies have done it again, the heart wrenching lies, truths and insane cliffhangers. I really hope they don’t rip my heart out in book 3.
Of course our narrators are excellent and help bring this story to life!
