Summary
A magical serial killer is on the loose, and gelatinous, otherworldly creatures are infesting the English countryside. Which is making life for the Ministry of Occultism difficult, because magic is supposed to be their best kept secret.
After centuries in the shadows, the Ministry is forced to unmask, exposing the country's magical history - and magical citizens - to a brave new world of social media, government scrutiny, and public relations.
On the trail of the killer are the Ministry's top agents: a junior operative with a photographic memory (and not much else), a couple of overgrown schoolboys with godlike powers, and a demonstrably insane magician.
But as they struggle for results, their superiors at HQ must face the greatest threat the Ministry has ever known: the forces of political correctness....
Differently Morphous is the latest and greatest tale to emerge from the mind of writer (and narrator) Yahtzee Croshaw.

Half Supernatural thriller, half Yes Minister
Quite possibly my favourite novel from Yahtzee yet, and very animately performed. Listeners familiar with his games will find some nice references in here but knowing them isn’t essential. I will say that if your curious about a certain event mentioned in the novel then you should play “The consuming shadow” to get some back ground on the world the book takes place in.
Without getting into too much detail the Ending was a bit mysterious, which normally would be fine except i’m aware of the author’s tendency to not make sequels, so if this is going to be another stand alone story there will be a few questions left un-answered but it by no means spoils an excellent story, well worth your time and money!

excellent story and narration
my only gripe is the absolutly awful Yorkshire accent, dear god it was painful to listen to, thankfully it wasn't attributed to a main character

Funny old thing, bureaucracy.
Very witty take on magic, bureaucracy, politics, and political correctness gone... funny.
I do wish we had a neighbourhood fluidic though... fingers crossed.
Came across after following the Zero Punctuation and glad I did.

Best Yahtzee book so far.
This book is fabulous, funny and just overall a really good time. I genuinely laughed out loud a lot of times and all the stuff with the Shoggoffs... oh sorry, Fluidics, was hilarious.
Satire in a world gone PC mad, so basically England today.
Very funny and would recommend.

Simply Fantastic
This book is gripping, funny, exciting and I was genuinely upset when it finished!
The story is simply phenomenal, with a guessing game running throughout. A fantastic 'magical' world of twists and turns the whole way through.
This is a book anyone can get into, an excellent example of imagination and wit.

Loved it!
My favourite of all his books. Some great characters, especially the one who's like Malcolm Tucker on steroids...

Brilliant funny story that defies description
Well written and comments around political correctness had me laughing outloud. Not a big fan of authors reading their own books but excellent naration by Yahtsee Croshaw makes the characters come to life.
