Summary

The massacre of 1982 told in full

Halloween night, 1982. Many people were brutally killed or simply vanished at the Blackwater Hotel—formerly Perron Manor. The events of that night have always remained a mystery.

Prequel to book one

This is more of a prequel than a sequel to book one, it explains a lot of what happens when Chloe was a child. It also explains Sarah's odd behavior. I did not enjoy it as much as book one though, I think it would have been better to have read this one first.
