Summary
Perron Manor—a place evil calls home
Sisters Sarah and Chloe inherit a house they could never have previously dreamed of owning. It seems too good to be true.

awful all round
where do I start, sooo boring. narrator sounded like Bungle, off Rainbow. very slow. boring story. returned it, unfortunately 😔

stick to the physical book
The narration of the story itself is good, but the voicing of the actual characters was horrendous. I almost gave up at chapter 2! Sadly this has put me off listening to the rest of the series, however, I will read them.

Speed it up to 1.15
This was actually quite enjoyable. yes it's a slow burner but that's part of the fun, narrator is fine if you speed him up to 1.15 or 1.2 although yes, sorry Hannibal, your female characterisations were a bit odd.

Slow start
After I managed to increase the speed of the narrator I enjoyed the story more, it was a little slow to start but did improve

Great story
The first half of the narration was extremely slow and off putting. The narrator whilst reading is Great but when he does the character voices they are awful and nearly made me stop listening.

Narrator ruined it
The story was good but the narrator completely ruined it . His own voice was fine reading , but the characters were awful. Comedic and drunk sounding . Completely ruined it im afraid

The Narrator....
I am breaking with tradition here. If I've nothing nice to say, etc, and it doesn't sit well doing this - however the narrator is really terrible. I increased the speed of narration which I've never done before over 80 books, The acting out of characters particularly females was toe curling and you had to constantly adjust how they would probably sound in your own mind. A bit hard going however I'm persevering. Not a great story either, it's predictable.

Did not enjoy this at all - Not worth the listen
I listen to alot of audio books and this was awful. Long and drawn out, poor storey.

Almost had to give up listening several times, the narration of the two sisters made them sound like half wits. Will not be listening to the next in series.

The annoying voices that the narrator put on , especially the sisters voices..
The narrators voice grated on me to the point where I wasn't sure I could carry on listening. I t turns out it wasn't worth it. Not a great story!
