Summary
Welcome to Hannigan’s, where every drink is served with a double shot of terror....
A small-town carpenter exterminates a nest of ravenous insects, only to find them building a new home deep within his flesh. A brilliant doctor’s medication unleashes supernatural vengeance upon a pair of remorseless killers. And a peaceful camping trip becomes a blood-soaked nightmare, when a local legend is unleashed….
Scare Street welcomes you to Hannigan’s, a delightfully cozy Irish pub on the road just ahead. Everyone at Hannigan’s has a story to tell. Tales of ghosts, ghouls, and other shadowy horrors. Whispered nightmares, guaranteed to make your skin crawl and keep you up at night.
So pull up a chair, order a drink, and try to relax. After all, these 12 bone-chilling tales are just local legends and drunken mutterings. They can’t really hurt you, can they?
But as the bottles are emptied and the warm fire dies down, you can’t help but wonder.
After all, every legend begins with a grain of truth….

Creepy Listening.
This is a very good collection of 12 short creepy stories. From the last hike of a group of students before going their own ways in the world, meeting up with not so friendly monkeys to the Tarot reader who sees far more in the cards that he would have liked, this is a must read for horror fans. Thom Bowers narration is excellent, he has just the voice to create a tense and creepy ambience. Highly Recommended and I look forward to reading more of this series.
I was kindly given a copy of the book and leave this honest review.

Shock and Awe
You know when I get an anthology of this type I’m always skeptical and ready for a let down. Imagine my surprise and joy at being so very wrong. It’s been quite sometime since story after story has been great or in some cases better than great. This set of stories has something to chill the heart of everyone. If you’re gonna take a chance take it with this book!!

WTH!!!
I really thought this book was going to be good reading the reviews on it but much to my surprise this is the most dumbest book I have ever listen to. It’s a waste of credit half of the stories were boring. Some of them didn’t make sense. Please don’t waste your money.

Great listen!
Loved this collection of stories! A wide variety of spooky tales to listen to, I especially liked Digging Up Digby by Ian Fortey and Play Your Hand by Sara Clancy. The narrator Thom Bowers is a long time favorite and does a great job of bring the stories to life and creating an engaging listening experience.

This audiobook was definitely spine tingling. What made it even better was the great narration from the narrator. The narrator did wonderfully bringing the stories and the characters to life. The stories definitely had me checking over my shoulders more than twice. I could not stop listening the books were perfect for anyone who loves a good scare .

Be sure to drop by the Tavern of Terror!
So many good stories in one collection. Some authors I already love and a few new voices. As a trail runner who often listens while running, I enjoyed "Off Trail", and I look forward to reading more by Kevin Saito. Thom Bowers brings the stories to life in a way few narrators do. I'm looking forward to the next installment.
