What an end to the series
The story of Frankie and Zara. Book 4 in the beneath the mask series.
Yet again Luna Mason provides us with a gripping intense face paced story line with lots of twists and turns but don't worry she still bring all the spice we love her for.
,
Zara is detective in the New York Police force where her father also happens to the Police commissioner, a few corrupt police commissioner.
With her eyes set on bringing Frankie down it doesn't take Zara long to realise that all may not be as it seems and the real problem is her father and the group of corrupt cops that work for him.
The narrators for this book Angelina Rocco and Antonio Amato do an amazing job with the audio. It perfect casting bringing the drama, spice and sometimes heartbreak alive from the pages of the book
Whilst this is the final instalment of the beneath the mask series it sets the scene nicely for Lunas new series Beneath the secrets series which starts with Jax from this book and the reason he has to leave New York

Great 💙
Both narrators brought Frankie and Zara to life capturing how they felt on paper and making you feel each emotion with them. Another Luna mason book that grips you from start to finish and an amazing one too end the Beneath the mask series with giving Frankie the happily ever after he deserved with his new found family. highly recommend for anyone who's an audiobook fan to listen to this along with the previous Beneath the mask books. 💙

Awesome Story & Narration🎧 Riveting & Intense!
Luna Mason blows me away with another impressive dark mafia romance novel set in her “Beneath the Mask” series and I would like to say she saved the best for last, but that would not be fair to the earlier books which are just as amazing. This last installment is Frankie Falcone and Zara O’Reilly’s story and I knew Frankie had a dark past that he did not like to talk about or share, but wow, I get why he is driven by vengeance and how personal it was for him. Kudos to the Russo and Falcone family for never giving up on their battle with the dirty, dealing Romano family. Zara O’Reilly is a detective with the NYPD and the commissioner’s daughter, arrests Frankie, but knowing he won’t be held too long so he just taunts her. Zara gets schooled by her father, but does not like being told to turn a blind eye on criminal activity and has a hard time letting it go so she starts her own investigation. Frankie knows she is on his tail and plays along, but then she gets in over her head, and she learns not is all as it seems. The deeper she gets, the harder it is to know who to trust and after it all hits the fan, with no one to turn to, she knows what she has to do. There is never a dull moment in the book, the writing, plot and world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. The drama is non-stop and there is plenty of action, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. I loved the chemistry between those two, he may be the boss and a Dom, but she gives him a run for his money, and he definitely met his match with her. Luna Mason, thank you for another amazing story and wild ride. I am looking forward to what comes next in this amazing world you created.
🎧 📚🎧 Angelina Rocca and Antonio Amato are the perfect narrators to bring these characters to life and do so with a complete understanding of who they are portraying, giving each a voice that is fitting, accents and all. Amato nails it as Frankie and is a natural in his role as the mafia alpha boss, with Rocca being just as amazing as Zara, grasping her spiritedness and feistiness. Both were fantastic cover the roles of the secondary characters too. They set the right tone for the story, captured all the characters’s emotions and have you feeling each one. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their performance elevates this already amazing story to another level. Thank you for another fantastic listen.

Excellent enemies to lovers romance!
This is the fourth and last book in the amazing Beneath the Mask Series, a dark mafia romance. This is a standalone in an interconnected series. The prologue is breathtakingly heart wrenching. Frankie and Zara's story is enthralling, entertaining, and intense, filled with danger, action, and twists and turns. Frankie, a mafia boss, is enigmatic, alpha, dominant, revengeful, ruthless, and protective. Zara, a detective, is beautiful, feisty, smart, strong, and determined. I liked the tension, the sizzling chemistry, and the intricate plot. The supporting characters are great, and I loved to see again the characters from the first books in the series. This is an excellent enemies to lovers romance, and a breathtaking conclusion to this fascinating series. Angelina Rocca and Antonio Amato did an outstanding job bringing these characters and this story to life. I enjoyed it. If you like dark mafia romance, this series definitely is for you.
