Summary

"Fated love means nothing when we can avoid extinction. One tiny sacrifice will appease the shadows. It's a shame, really. You've always been my pretty little monster."

Those were the last words I heard from my Alpha, my fated mate, before his Beta tossed me off the cliff into a land of no return: Demon Valley, the place where no human or wolf shifter survives. Legends claim there's an escape from the shadowy, demon-infested haven, but no one has ever returned to confirm the truth.

Except me.

There's a reason no one comes back from Demon Valley, and when I reach the end of its dark tunnel, I finally understand why. At that grand exit lies a place of rejected salvation. Our Goddess may have blessed me with the ultimate plot for revenge, starting with the Alpha of Nightmare Daemons himself.

Malifer Nightshade.

A beast of shadows. A seductive master. Creator of this forbidden valley.

And the rejected older brother of my Alpha.

To gain salvation, one must be tested. For me, that means destroying my bond with the Alpha I expected to spend my life with. After his shattering betrayal, it's the only option, and I won't deny the ultimate truth.

I'm angry - broken - and with the help of these very addictive shadows, I’ll show my old pack of deceitful wolves exactly what a pretty little monster I can be.

Demon Valley Pack is a full-length paranormal rejected-mates romance. Recommended for 18+ due to mature content.

Confusing Story line

The narrators are great but found the story confusing, was not sure what was going on.

What???

This book has a storyline I really was interested in but the amount of internal dialogue killed me! There was so much that it was hard to keep up with the overall story and at point left me saying what what?? I hope that if I pick up the next book that this will not be such an issue.

Did not finish

First the female MC is way too young for this book. She’s supposed to be 20 but is actually 18. I’m sorry but that’s barely legal for me. I can’t get into a story with the female MC being so young. I loved the other book by this author. It was so good that I pre-ordered this book! But once I heard she was an 18 year old virgin I just couldn’t listen any more. Hearing sex scenes and the male MC talk about her is just too much. Plus I’m really tired of the main female characters in books calling other females sluts. Women are aloud to sleep with how ever many men they want and that shouldn’t in any way impact yourself as a person.

Too much

Wow the story was pretty bad. The narrorator was great as always, she tried her hardest with what she had to work with. The main character thought she was so cool it was pretty irritating. The story was just too much, it was pretty ridiculous.

super inconsistent with a horrid ending

The MC goes through an tough trial that forges herself into a new person, I get that, but the author can't make up their mind whether to have her be timid, crazy, badass, loving, or angry. I kinda just got over it since the story was OK overall. The author kept throwing facts and revelations about the MC but didn't really do much with them. It feels like I'm reading a rough draft rather than a finished story. What REALLY crapped the whole book was the ending. I can't even explain how stupid it felt. The author tried to make a surprising twist, but botched it so bad. It wasn't surprising, just unbelievable and far-fetched.
