Summary

Have the people of Pebble Cove welcomed a killer into their midst?

Two women wash up on the beach in front of Rosemary’s tea shop. One is dead. The other is wounded and can’t even remember her name. Is she also a victim or the killer?

When it becomes clear that the only souls who can help solve this mystery are those of the ghostly persuasion, Rosemary has to get involved. She must identify the killer before they strike again.

Infused with mystery and intrigue

I loved this book but that is not surprising the whole series has captured my imagination and I can't get enough of all the ghost action. There is a long running mystery throughout this series, of who killed the resident ghost Asher, as if Rosemary doesn't have enough on her hands solving modern day murders. But I love it, the more you learn and eliminate suspects the more Asher comes alive and the author always gives it a little twist. The main mystery does get solved and boy has it added a new element to the series. There isn't a great deal of suspects because most of the book is spent trying to work out who the mystery girl is. This really works well in my opinion and keeps the reading hooked to find out more. I like all the characters in this series but once again it is the town ghosts that steal the show, of which there is plenty and are recurring characters, so read the rest of the series to get to know them. You won't be disappointed. I love how they all get involved in the mystery and have different ways of helping. Off to start the next book.
Rosemary is shocked when two woman wash up on shore. Unfortunately one turns out to have been dead before she entered the water and the other one has no recollection of what happened or even her name. she isn't a suspect in her friends death and with a local music festival in the near by town the only place available to the young woman is a cot in the local jail. But when she shows signs of reacting to Asher, Rosemary is worried what staying with the old cantankerous ghost chief would do to the fragile w more harm, she offers to let her stay with her until she remembers who she is. This poses it own problems when a new ghost arrives and starts to case problems. Can Rosemary help the new ghost move on without scaring the mystery woman anymore? And what about finding her friends killer? The only way to do that is use the few clues the mystery woman provided when she was washed up on the beach. Can Rosemary and the town ghosts help her to remember who she is?
I like the narrator. She is one of the better ones I listen to and it is always a pleasure to sit back and listen to her voice.
