About this listen
"I’m not like other women; I’m Kumari, Queen of the Realm, and I’m cursed."
Trust was a liberty that as Kumari, Bae could not afford, especially after the murder of Bae’s mother, the late Kumari. The Kumari bloodline had to continue regardless of the cost, even if it was the life of someone she loved.
There were only two things that a Kumari should trust; magic and her seven mates. The race was on for Bae to find and claim her seven mates before she had to defend her realm from an unknown enemy. With them, she still might not win, but alone she would definitely fail.

A five star listen
Book 1 in the series. It’s a reverse harem story. The author, Hanleigh Bradley wrote a very detailed story with lots of descriptions that make you feel like your right into the story with the heroine. This a fantastic fantasy story that has lots of magic .
Heroine is Bae.
Bae mother was murdered. Bae now has to find her seven mates not only to safe her magic but to safe the world as Bae knows it . Three mates are claimed and then she meets another two . She needs to find another two then the world is right .
Elizabeth LaRose performance is great. First time I heard her . Her voice is strong and smooth

Intrigue and betrayal
This was a fantastic read, full of intrigue and betrayal and romance, I loved the conspiracy and prophecy at the heart of the plot. The characters were interesting and I loved the the little silver fox, I definately want to read the next book. I received this book in exchange for my honest review.
