Fantastic!

Craving a King is a well-composed romance with a refreshing premise. Louise Lennox's character development is excellent; they were authentic and appealing. Kofi and Ella's relationship was unconventional, a West African Ring, royal falling in love with a foreigner, an American global education consultant. Their connection was one of passion and desire, one where their loyalties and devotion are tested. I enjoyed their story and learning about a new culture; I found it quite intriguing.

Simone Lewis and Uduyak Inyang did an exceptional job with the narration, capturing and portraying the nuances of the characters' personalities and emotions, breathing life into them. Craving a King is a steamy and enjoyable royal romance, one I'll recommend.

Polite Raunchiness

This was pretty good. The author did a great job with the intimate scenes, they were classy and raunchy at the same time….if that’s possible. The hook up was believable too which made the listen more enjoyable. There was a little curve ball thrown in there to give it just the right amount of drama - nothing over the top that would make you feel like your listening to a Real Housewives series. It’s worth a try…..good job.

impressive

Ella is a strong woman, but at times too headstrong for her own good. She had a wall built around her heart for safety, but Kofi quickly penetarated it. Kofi had a huge fight on his hands to win his queen over for life. They are well matched partners in crime for life. I enjoyed seeing Kofi's faithful servant become faithful to him again. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrators did a great job bringing the characters and story to life.

I love duets!

This book is definitely worth the credit and listen. It was a refreshing story line full of plot twists and intrigue. The narrator Mr. Inyang is now a favorite of mine along with Mr. Diem. The female narrator was good but left a little to be desired in this book. But don’t get me wrong she’s amazing just maybe she didn’t fully understand this book’s assignment. I will be looking for other books she narrated to see if my suspicions are correct. Overall, the bill was amazing abs I can’t wait for the other two in the series to be released. Amazing!!!!

Really enjoyed this story!

This is a New To Me Author and Narrators and I really enjoyed the story. Uduyak Inyang may have very well moved up to one of my favorite narrators after this performance. He is incredible! I enjoyed Simone's performance, but she was not a good fit for this role in my opinion. She did not give Successful Black woman from Atlanta vibes for me. She is a very talented narrator and I would enjoy her in other roles, I'm sure, but not this one. The story was very well written with a good amount of heat between the lovers, camaraderie between friends and a little family secret that was exposed. Very good character development and storyline. would have definitely been a solid 5 star read had the woman narrator been a better fit.

Beautiful gem

This story was different than ones I’ve listened to in the past. More along the lines of the content. There was still the usual angst and sexy scenes, but I liked that the majority of the story took place in Africa. Not sure I’ve listened to one like this before. The descriptions were very well done and I could picture being there. The storyline moved along perfectly and I’ll be keeping my eye out for more beauties by this author and the narrators.

Craving a King

The storyline is great. The female narrator was horrible. Made it hard to listen to
