Summary

The gripping new psychological thriller from the best-selling author of After Anna and Killing Kate.

Imitation is the most terrifying form of flattery....

Which Sarah Havenant is you?

When an old friend gets in touch, Sarah Havenant discovers that there are two Facebook profiles in her name. One is hers. The other she has never seen.

But everything in it is accurate. Photos of her friends, her husband, her kids. Photos from the day before. Photos of her new kitchen. Photos taken inside her house.

And this is just the beginning. Because whoever has set up the second profile has been waiting for Sarah to find it. And now that she has, her life will no longer be her own....

Unfortunately predicable.

The worst part for me with this Audible was the narrator's TERRIBLE false American accent, it was truly awful. The book was, unfortunately, predictable and if I'm truly honest I was glad when it finished. The husband in the story was quite pathetic which was hugely frustrating. Sorry, would not recommend.

Unexpected twists!

Really loved this book, broke into 3 parts, each part has unexpected turns and I LOVED IT. I'm usually picky when it comes to books, but I loved this.

The book was geat until the last part of the book - the author dragged out the ending so much after you worked out who did it so much so I ended up fast forwarding the last half of the book . It took sooooooooooo long to get to the point I was bored. In the end I was right and the end itself didn’t make me want to read another of the authors books - I’ve read much better books and will get a refund for this one as part 1 was great the rest utter boredom drawn out storylines dragging every bit over about as slow as a snail - excruciatingly slow and long when relief came as I thought it was the end there was more in the end I fast forward to the end ... not impressed

A good storyline.

A little slow in the beginning but it picked up after a while. The narrator needed to be a little more animated to make it more exciting. Overall a good read!

Great story

Throughly enjoyed the story but really didn’t enjoy the narrator...... spoiled it...... ended up wishing I’d bought the book and read it myself instead of listening to it!?

Overlong and tedious.

Badly written with ignorant comments about mental health (from a doctor) ! I didn't like Sarah or her husband and their kids were rude and whiney. I don't recommend.

Ended too soon

This was a good story up until we find out who the guilty party is. Ended too soon and the last few hours felt rushed

Good but not his best

Ramped up towards the end and was hooked for last few chapters. A little drawn out and the American accents are a bit cringey.
It was fairly obvious who it had to be but was still a good listen and good to hear all other twists.

Very poor grasp on mental health conditions

There were some editing issues. While I enjoyed the narrator, there were a few spots where bits repeated with the narrator clapping to indicate where to edit, but the editor must have missed this. This yanked me straight out of the story.

The protagonist is insufferable. They way she speaks about mental health conditions makes it very difficult for me to believe she's a doctor. The way certain mental health conditions were described in this novel was ignorant at best and would be adding to stigma of an already misunderstood disorder. The protagonist also completely contradicts her own logic constantly. I might need an eye doctor with how much I rolled my eyes during this one.
