Companions
While the story is okay I struggled to care about any of the characters. I wish the author had used a different thesaurus, the word companions being used continually started to drive me mad.

Very juvenile writing
Would have gained high marks from me, if handed in as a G.C.S.E piece of work, however as a published novel it really struggles, completely inept, untrained and rather annoying main characters constantly and consistently defeating overwhelming odds with little to no losses (depending on whether you count John as a main character) amongst the main characters.

Stoo-pid
TW Piperbrook had the outline of a great story. The marathon is engaging and Mr Duran does the best with the material. Unfortunately TW has accidentally written some of the most frustratingly stupid characters I've come across. By the end of some chapters you are actively hoping for their demise. Unintentionally hilarious.

He did this. He did that.
The story is fine and the narration is good however there's a lot of He did this. He did that. He looked up. He walked into the room. It's like a screenplay. It's good story but I think Covid19 conspiracy theorists are going to love this more than I do.

I tried but had to give up
I really, really persevered with this but in the end I couldn’t face anymore. I was endlessly shaking my head at the ridiculous plot or dialogue. At one point a character who’s Mother died was struggling to remember her Mum’s face and voice etc. The Mum had literally died the day before! Absolutely ridiculous. Don’t bother!

don't bother
I think this was written by a 10 year old, the hero's should be called laurel and hardy as I have never encountered more inept main characters . if I had paid for this I would not be impressed, as it was I couldn't finish it.
