Was so excited to finally get some answers to all the questions of book 1, while I got some, I also got a lot more questions! I hope it’s not too lo g before the next book is out the cliffhanger is going to drive me crazy!!
Definitely enjoyed the adventure along the way!
Lessa Lamb did any amazing job with the narrative as usual:)

holy mother of drama!
a lot going on here! suspence, action, a lot of drama, passion...gosh this girl cannot have 1 minute of rest!
good book, but i really need the story to speed up a bit! the ending left me wishing for book 3 to be out yesterday!

Colton and Ocean!
Colton is left reeling after the cliffhanger from the first book in this series as he tries to adjust to the changes and responsibilities that he must now face. He finds himself at war both in the boardroom and with other forces who plan to take advantage of the situation he finds himself in. After a few missteps he finally realizes that he can no longer deny his feelings for Ocean, but their problems are far from over.
Ocean is trying to overcome the devastating event that she endured but that is the only the beginning. She realizes that the people she could always count on have been keeping secrets from her and she is feeling betrayed as she feels like she doesn’t really know them at all. If that isn’t enough to handle, then some surprise guests are sure to make the next book in this series very interesting.
The characters of Ocean and Colton are compelling and there is a great cast of secondary characters that certainly add some drama, humor and suspense to the story. The narrator does a wonderful job of portraying the individual characteristics of the different characters as well as the emotions they were experiencing. 🎧 Audiobook Obsession

Wow…just wow
This book has been written very well. With ruthless characters and a gripping storyline it’s everything you will need to escape life. Lessa has given a brilliant performance, you can feel the performance perfectly.

Good Listen
Oceans life is full of drama, even more than she could dream of. She thought she escaped by getting out of the hood but now she has to deal with the drama of the rich and cocky. She learns that the people she trusted the most kept the biggest secret from her and that the drama with her is never ending.

Ocean and Colton find new ground in spite of Nic pushing her to come home. Colton has a big secret and has to take over for his dad and those are big shoes to fill. Fantastic narration and wonderful series.

Gasping
Book 2 gets way steamier and way darker. One moment you are gasping and the next you are like omg 😳. Then the ending! Totally have to listen to book 3 now!!! If you loved the first this you must listen to book 2!

Intense
I was leery to read this book after how the first book ended. I had read similar books that had some alternative outcomes that I was afraid would happen here as well. I was pleased to find out that I was wrong. There were things that made me a little uncomfortable. I also had issues with Ocean's personality in certain areas and how redundant she could be at times. It didn't take my enjoyment of the story as a whole away though. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

wow
think the action is finally picking up but still slow pace. The writing is good and the way facts are presented keeps you interested enough to continue. Moving on to book 3.
