a truly wonderful book
I love Road Dahl's books and this is one his best. slightly different to both the film's. I'm always fascinated by the interpretations of Willy wonkas mannerisms as it feels every one seems to have a different idea of how he is.

Just as I remember but better!
Me and my 3 day old son just finished and I am so glad to have the excuse to listen to Roald Dahl stories again. About to start the great glass elevator and then every other book he produced. Can’t wait until my son can fully understand them. Excellent narration

Great, engaging, funny and entertaining listen!
Great story. Really funny and silly. Not a relaxing bedtime listen though as the narrator reads extremely enthusiastic, fast and loudly but great other times especially if you need a good giggle!

Beautifully read.
Of course the story is great...we all know that. But I really enjoyed the narration. Correctly articulated with not too much or too less. Douglas Hodge has given a terrific performance with the right amount of enthusiasm...really well done.
