Really engaging
Really enjoyed this! Had abit of everything. Some action, some romance and a lot of plot twists. Really enjoyed it

couldn't put it down 😍
I was kept on the edge of my seat the entire book. The story was thrilling and there are many mysteries to uncover even as we have already discovered so much. The romance was really good too, their love /hate, their tension and explosive shmex were all great. some good twists and turns kept me hooked and the fight scenes were fast, dangerous and super fun.
Narration was excellent and !are it Even better.
Ends on a cliffhanger and now I need book 2.
Free on audible and on KU as well.

Explosive
It seems that everything I've read from this author so far has been brilliant. It doesn't matter the sub-genre or the plot, I get sucked in. CMIYC is no different. The first in a romantic Suspense trilogy, its full of exactly that; Suspense and the start of a thrilling romance. There's twists, turns, secrets and an explosive cliffy that will want to have you diving into book 2. Naomi isn't the easiest FMC to root for, but once you understand why, it helps. Marcus isn't perfect either, but dang is he gone for Naomi and fast. Can't wait for more from the gang.

FFS!!! CLIFFHANGER ENDING!! 😫😫😫
I was so engrossed in this book, I really wasn't paying attention to the time running down. Then suddenly, the book ends on a cliffhanger and I'm like "WTF!!! 😫" Was only interested in the free read from a brilliant author, but now you making me spend money to read the next books Audible!! 🤬
