Summary
Devious henchwomen need love too.
In a magical kingdom far away, there lived cursed princes, warrior women, and powerful heroes. Breaking the Curse is a sexy gender swap Sleeping Beauty retelling where the heroes have become heroines, the heroines have become heroes, and nothing is as it seems.
Handsome Prince Nathan is doomed. Cursed at infancy to plunge into an eternal slumber on his 20th birthday, he believes a short, isolated life is all he can ever hope for. With so little time to live, all he wants is to have some fun with his best friend, a talking bird named Raven.
Raven is not what she seems. A mischievous temptress, Raven is the henchwomen of the same malevolent sorcerer who damned Nathan as an infant. Raven is cursed to be a woman by night, bird by day, but still thinks she has everything she needs: a handsome semi-evil lover, a charming best friend, and an unending supply of pranks.
When one of her schemes puts Nathan's life at risk, she'll have to expose her true feelings for him to save the day. Will Raven change her wily ways? Or are they out of time?
This sexy adult story involves light bondage, drunken sorcerers, and a love strong enough to defy even the strongest curse.
It is a stand-alone novella part of the Sexy Reversed Fairy Tale series, which can be heard in any order. There are no cliffhangers, and each short ends as it should: happily ever after.

Fresh Fun and Sassy
I loved it, I had just finished a pretty heavy book emotionally and this was just the book to bring me out of the fog.
It's fun and funny and sassy and sexy.
Raven and Mal and Nathan what a great bunch of characters. I have to say even though curses are suppose to be bad and all I like Mal's sense of humor about his.
Oh and the pranks, mostly harmless but I still liked that Nathan ended up in the cake after all ;) Kind of a little pay back... Great story.

Breaking the Curse: Raven's Royal Mate
I had a hard time getting into this book because of the narrator, Audrey Lusk. I think I will avoid all books narrated by her. I will try again at a later date. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Quick Listen!
3…5* for story.
A quick short listen. Narrator did a good job telling the story of Sleeping Beauty but the roles are reverse and the curse isn't caused by a prick of a needle.

Cute and steamy story!
Cute and steamy story of a reverse gender Sleeping Beauty story. Nate is the prince of a fairytale land and Raven is the assistant to a magical being and both of them were cursed as babies. How can the two prevent or overcome Prince Nathan's sleeping curse and will Raven ever be free of her curse of being a Raven through the day and a woman at night?

Fun read
This is a reverse on sleeping beauty, but with a twist when it comes to the prick that puts them to sleep. Raven is a fun character, and becomes Nathan’s best friend. And let’s just say that it was lucky true loves kiss broke the curse.
