Summary
Oxytocin, endorphin, and dopamine are three of the four “happy hormones” in our brain. Oxytocin is a powerful hormone. It isn’t called the “love drug” for nothing. However, this title barely scratches the surface of the social bonding effects this hormone has. Oxytocin also plays a big part in childbearing as it increases contractions during labor and increases lactation after birth.
Endorphin is more of a catch-all as it implies a pharmacological activity as opposed to a specific chemical formulation. These endorphins can as painkillers, kind of like the body’s own natural morphine. Endorphins can be activated by a host of things, even something as simple as a big smile or a heartfelt laugh.
Dopamine is a hormone that is also big on making you feel good. It can stop anxiety and can also cause an increase in impulsive reactions. Learn of its relations to studying, ADHD, schizophrenia, and more.
Estrogen is basically a girl form of testosterone. It’s responsible for the development and maintenance of her female parts. Find out the impacts it has on the body and its relationship with fertility and aging. Learn the signs of low estrogen and more from this audiobook.
Learn the essentials about the three "happy" hormones - oxytocin, endorphin, and dopamine - and estrogen.

Very good
I love books like this because they show you how your brain works, the neurotransmitters, the dopamine, the serotonin, and all the other substances. I recommend books like this to friends because it really all comes down to how your brain functions. For example, I have a brother-in-law with schizophrenia and you can just see how the medication changes him in a good way and how depressed and addicted he gets when he doesn't go outside enough. Our brains were meant to work a certain way. Don't work against them.

Where's The other 3/4 of the book?
I can't believe this is sold as a complete book.
First of all, just know that there are no actual steps to "training" in this book.
The things covered in this book are:
oxytocin
estrogen
endorphins
and dopamine
I was expecting this book to cover:
All those things plus
testosterone
serotonin
epinephrine
GABA etc.
if you already have a basic understanding of neurotransmitters this book offers no value. if you are a female who knows little about estrogen, dopamine, endorphins and oxytocin then this book could help you. it holds no value to males in my opinion.
I usually don't leave bad reviews on books I don't like because I feel it's only my opinion, but this book is very misleading only about 1/4 of the information it should have. I was very disappointed. Don't waste your money/credit . You'll learn more from an hour of The Hubermann Lab podcast then from this book.
Also, check out the Huberman Lab podcast on Audible.
