THE PERFECT E-T-L OFFICE ROMANCE

Graduating Top of her class, Raquel could have her pick of jobs to start her new career off and she chooses Fletcher International Inc. because that’s where her sister Renee had started. A very entertaining romance as chemistry shakes things up in Raquel and Patton’s lives when instant animal attraction blurs their well-defined lines. Raquel (aka Rocky) is smart, driven, a fierce opponent, a loving sister and a loyal colleague and Patton is a sweet teddy bear in a sexy, tattooed, broody, a.hole alpha disguise. Damaged secondary characters weave in and out and enrich the storyline, a snake in the grass causes serious problems and there’s heartache for a while when the past finally reveals its obscure secrets. This dual POV passionate enemies-to-lovers, quick-to-flare office romance blossoms and blooms perfectly with just the right amount of angst, drama, sex, heartache and humor running through it and Patton’s character development brings joy in the sweet HEA ending.

Worth a credit? An interesting line-up of likeable characters, a well-written e-t-l affectionate office romance, a sexy handsome hero, a feisty heroine who lives up to her nickname and great narration by Lucy and Teddy made this a enjoyable fun and yes creditworthy listen.

Another sexy, steamy story from Tia Louise

Tia Louise delivers yet another sexy, steamy story (with some laughs thrown in!)

Lucy Rivers and Teddy Hamilton did a great job narrating.

Boss of Me is a military, enemies-to-lovers, workplace contemporary romance written in dual first-person POV and done in dual narration. It’s a standalone that ends with a HEA. No cliffhanger, no cheating.

I received this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

Office romance

Boss of Me is a sweet office romance and somewhat of a new beginning. Patton was a true military man. His ethics of never leaving a man behind and taking care of his team was number one on the many lists of things to do. He never gave up on his friends and always did what he thought was right, until he met Raquel.

Raquel was a graduate with an MBA. She needed to be close to her family and needed to "take" care of everyone in her path. Working was important and she would excel. Her spunky attitude and hard working nature drew everyone in the office to her and they knew she would do wonders for the office.

When spunk meets sulky, you know this is going to be a good read. I loved the banter between Patton and Raquel. She didn't take anything from him and he tried to dish it out. I like him being bossy but make no mistake, Raquel didn't let him get away with anything. I wanted to give a four star review but just as the story was going somewhere really good, it ended quickly. There was so much more to tell so I felt like we got to the end before the middle was done. I still had questions and a lot of what ifs and maybes.

Sizzling office romance

Sizzling office romance with a major alpha.

I liked this story about a heroine that gets a job at a firm her sister used to work at. However, you know right from the beginning no one is being up front about “what happened”.
There are several stories all intertwined with each other that while all interesting took away from the romance going on. The business partners all have a past with each other from the military that brought them together and made them closer. And we also have a relationship between the heroine and her sister as well as everyone’s pasts and presents. For awhile I felt it was all becoming too much. Sure it helps create more in depth characters which I completely appreciate but then the detail of it all starts to take away from the relationship with their hero and heroine and I just left feeling just okay. With it all.

So good

Tia Louise is quickly becoming a must author for me. I really enjoyed Boss of Me and the narrators that brought this book to life. I love listening to audio books and Lucy Rivers and Teddy Hamilton did a good job telling this story.

Patent is CEO of his company and has a thing about women working for him. He never expected someone like Raquel to turn his life upside down. Not only is she good at her job she is becoming irreplaceable in the company.

Patent and Raquel have this pull towards each other that is hard to stay away from. If you are like me and enjoy Office/enemies to lovers romance this is the book for you.

Bossy meets determined and love grows

What do you get when you combine a brooding, stubborn, former military commander with a fiesty, stand your ground intelligent woman? A hot romance that will also melt your heart.

Patton has been trying to protect his men since they left the military. He feels responsible for the injuries his soldiers suffered and still suffer from. He has taken over his father business and has his best friends working with him to build the business so they are all secure for their futures. He is focused on the end game and doesn't have time for distractions. In walks Raquel, beautiful, smart, and full of sass. His whole world is about to change.

Raquel is looking to make a name for herself and when she gets a position working in Patton's firm she is thrilled and a little nervous. Her sister worked here previously and it didn't work out so well so she is guarding herself from the "devil", Patton. It doesn't take long for her guard to slip and she sees him for the man he truly is even behind that grumpy personia.

This is a good book about struggles that soldiers face in coming home and returning to the mainstream as well as struggles smart women sometimes face in the business world. Throw lust and love into the mix and you have a heart melting love story.

Lucy Rivers and Teddy Hamilton were perfect at Patton and Raquel. Lucy gave Raquel that smoldering voice that exudes strength and Teddy, well he is a perfect Patton. All hot, commanding, and whew..... Loved listening to both of them from start to finish.

I loved this audiobook and highly recommend it. Worth the credit.

Incredible narration of an outstanding story!

Holy Hades! Patton Fletcher is one walking, talking, sexy devil of a man!

”They say the devil was heaven’s most beautiful angel. Patton Fletcher standing over me, looking down like he wants to devour me, is better than that.”

When Rocky receives a new job, her sister warns her about the man who will be her boss. Patton Fletcher is everything her sister said he would be…but more. Despite all his aggravating behaviors and treatment of her, she finds herself attracted to him.

Patton is trying to make up for mistakes in the past and in doing so he’s carrying the weight of the world on his shoulder. When Rocky walks into his life she brings light into his darkness and a smile to his lips.

”I like the way she looks at me, the way she challenges me and teases me. She’s playful and fun. She’s sunlight and fresh air. She makes me feel like for the first time in a long time I can let go and simply be.”

But his buddies are all struggling and he has to make things right. Unfortunately, with every step forward he seems to be pushed two steps back.

Rocky was a fun, sunny heroine who didn’t take life too seriously. At least she tried not to despite the heavy weight she carried on her shoulders. I loved that she was just as active in pursuing Patton as he was in pursuing her. The chemistry between these two was off the charts! I loved their beginning with their bickering and her always upping him in an argument. She did it with a smile and it drove him crazy, with desire.

Patton was the perfect aggravating boss. Until Rocky got a hold of his heart. Then he was all alpha, still bossy, and struggling to find a solution to win her. I loved that she softened him and gave him a place of peace. The fact that he listened to her, took her counsel, and conceded when she had done the right thing made me respect him.

I adored everything between these two characters. They had a quick banter, a lot of steam that demanded to be recognized, and the ability to open up to one another.

There was some angst that arose towards the end, and while I knew we’d get our happy ever after, I did worry what that was going to look like. This has a few twists – some I saw ahead of time and others caught me by surprise.

With a lightning fast pace and a story that was constantly moving forward, this kept me completely engaged from the very beginning. Secondary characters were not of just the lighthearted variety, introduced for levity, but actually added drama to the story. I’m hoping we’re going to get some of their stories as well. Fingers crossed!

Office Romance at its best!

I loved this one! Office Romances are one of my favorite genres! This one hit the spot! The story flows along with a grumpy ruthless boss. Raquel was warned about him but took the job anyway. She felt she could overcome his dislike of her. Ha ha! Those sparks that glow between them made for an enjoyable story.

Secondary characters are lovely! I liked meeting his crew and all the office workers. They both root for and against these two getting together. They add some good times!

I did listen to this on audio. Lucy Rivers and Teddy Hamilton did an outstanding job portraying these characters. This one is going on my favorites!

Don’t like Lucy’s male voice could not finish. Wish it had more of Teddy could listen to him all day.
