Really dull
This was incredibly boring. I persisted to nearly the end but it wasn’t worth it. The narration lacked light and shade but even with better narration I think it would still be a very very tedious story.

Unsure of one.
Thus was a sad one, unlike the others, the ending was poignant,
I did wonder how the conclusion would come to be, without causing so much sadness.
I do have to say though the narrator's accent although excellent in terms of English tones, the Scottish accent which I am assuming was intended to be Glaswegian was at a loss, perhaps a little more practise would help.
So very sad at the end I actually cried.

Fast pace narration
Please, Chloe Massey, slow down your narrative when the story’s suspense increases! Your excitement adds appropriate atmosphere, yet your speed sometimes doesn’t give the listener sufficient time to pick up on all the actions and feelings of the moment.
Thank you for your excellent voice ‘painting’ of each of the characters - it is easy to distinguish one from another.

Flat delivery
I’m afraid the monotone delivery detracted from the clever, playful and magical content of the novel. More intonation and colour in the reader’s voice was needed to make it come alive. Too sneering to get across the author’s carefully constructed sentences.
