Summary

A preying killer. A team of bloodthirsty mercenaries. A disgraced chief of police on a trail of murder.

Following the brutal events of the past months, the Maine State Police cannot stem the rising tide of violence sweeping through Blue Falls and its neighboring towns.

At the heart of this discontent, Jake Pettman hides from men he betrayed back in England. Savage men who now know where he is.

But Jake has more pressing concerns.

Kayla MacLeoid. A kidnapped 14-year-old girl.

And Jake cannot turn his back on a child.

Even if it kills him.

Fire in Bone is an adrenaline-pumping crime thriller novel from the Amazon best-selling author of One Last Prayer for the Rays, and the DCI Yorke series. Perfect for fans of Chris Carter, James Patterson, Chris Brookmyre, and Stuart Macbride.

Blue Falls

Another brilliant story in the Jake Pettman series, the hunt for the bad guys goes on and it takes Jakes imitable style to catch up with them, Wes Markin is just getting better and better the more books he writes IMPO. I love all of Aubrey Parsons narrations and he does not disappoint with this one. 5 stars all round, can't wait for the next story at the end of January!☺

Really enjoyable

A great story with great depth for the final book in the first trilogy of Jake Pettman, the only issue I encountered was the time jumps and keeping up with them , especially if you put it down for a few days, it can be difficult to recall. However saying that, it’s probably due to it moving along at such a fast pace!! All in a great book with fantastic narration
