Summary

Alex Carter: part soldier, part priest, all warrior.

"Hammer horror, video nasties, your nightmares: Gatward gorily smears the essence of all three over this page-turner of a horror-thriller." (Simon Clark)

"Alex Carter is surely the most kick-ass army chaplain on the planet." (Peter Laws)

Inspired by true events.

Ex-SAS trooper Alex Carter is now an army padre. When a patrol he’s on is ambushed, he thinks his army life is finished. You can’t wear a cross and carry a gun. But something evil has been disturbed by one of his old regiment mates. As the lines between spiritual warfare and the battlefield are blurred, Alex’s faith is tested to the extreme. Sometimes, God is a bullet....

Mission Creep is the first book in the Padre series. Perfect for fans of Jonathan Maberry, Stephen Leather, Nicholas Sansbury Smith, Guy N. Smith, and F. Paul Wilson.

Brilliant.

I absolutely loved this book. It was a little slow to get going but, when it did, I listened to it constantly. I like the authors style of writing. He has an excellent imagination. I am now on chapter 8 of the next book, so I'm off to listen.
