Blow is the unlikely story of George Jung's roller-coaster ride from middle-class high school football hero to the heart of Pablo Escobar's Medellín cartel - the largest importer of the United States cocaine supply in the 1980s.
Jung's early business of flying marijuana into the United States from the mountains of Mexico took a dramatic turn when he met Carlos Lehder, a young Colombian car thief with connections to the then newly-born cocaine operation in his native land. What a life.
I've not seen the movie. I'm not sure if it does the book justice, but what a crazy life this guy lead. great book.

interesting story.
suffers from " it all seemed ok but little did he know that six months later he would be....
so often we know xyz will be a near miss or a success so the actual tension is not there. but it is exciting and full of detail. worth a listen.

what a great book
this is a very easy book to get enthralled in. I love this story much better than the movie , very emotional end. It put a tear in the eye of an emotionally constapated big bloke lol

Really enjoyed it
I had seen the film not long after release and never thought about it again and saw this audiobook pop up on here so thought why not. I really enjoyed it, sometimes keeping up with people's names can be hard but I drive a lot in my job and this book really made the journies more enjoyable.
