Summary

Rescued by the billionaire lumberjack....

Lost.

Alone.

Freezing on the side of a desolate mountain in a massive snowstorm.

Until a rugged man with an ax saves me.

Waking in his warm, comfortable bed leaves more than one question.

How did I get here?

Where are my clothes?

And who is this handsome recluse with striking dark eyes and a grumpy demeanor?

The answers only bring more mysteries.

He doesn’t want me here.

Doesn’t want his secrets exposed.

I don’t want him to know mine, either.

But there’s only so long we can deny this sizzling attraction.

Only so long until I learn the truth about my billionaire lumberjack and our pasts come back to haunt us.

Grab this steamy stand-alone about a billionaire in hiding, the photographer who stumbles upon him, and what happens when they’re trapped together during a major snow storm with building attraction and dark secrets!

My Thoughts on Billionaire Lumberjack

I think one of my favorite things about this book was that there were so many unexpected moments throughout. Both main characters had secrets. And when you as the listener find out what they are, it’s completely understandable why they didn’t share right away. But even beyond that I had so many moments where I didn’t see something coming and it was exciting and had me riveted as I listened to it all unfold. It was a really good story with fantastic narration and topped off with the perfect ending like a cherry on top.

Brooke and Beau!

After recent events in her life Brooke needs some time to regroup so she heads to her friend’s cabin despite the less-than-ideal circumstances. When she finds herself stranded she heads towards the only lights she can see when Beau comes to her rescue.

Due to his past Beau has isolated himself from everyone and everything so finding himself with an unexpected houseguest was not part of the plan. They find themselves spending time together while waiting for the weather and roads to clear but they both have secrets, and they are about to catch up with them in the worst way possible.

Brooke is the first person to make Beau feel in ten years while he makes her feel safe and protected. The narrators were a great match for the characters as they brought out all the angst and romance of this story. 🎧 Pink Flamingo Productions

secrets

Amazing dual narration from Lee Daniels and Bryant Walker

Beau a billionaire businessman is living an isolated life up in his cabin in the mountains. He believes that nothing and no one could touch him anymore, holding on to a secret. Fate proved him wrong. Brooke, finding herself lost and freezing in a snowstorm, falls into his life. She too has a secret. Both get off on the wrong foot, but slowly it heats up in the cabin.

Lumberjack Romance

Billionaire Lumberjack by Gwyn McNamee is a billionaire mountain man forced proximity romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Lee Daniels and Bryant Walker. This is the first book in the Lumberjacks In Love series and can be read as a standalone.

This is the first book of Gwyn's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Beau and Brooke.

I can't wait for the next book in the series Billionaire Lumberjack's Baby to be released on May 25, 2023

Lee and Bryant did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like billionaire romances, mountain man romances, or forced proximity romances.

An Enjoyable Delight! Terrific Story & Narration🎧

I enjoyed this book immensely, the story grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it the entire time. The two lead characters, Brooke and Beau, are easy to relate to and connect with. Both were holding back secrets, and I found the mystery of who they were and what their deal was intriguing, it had me wondering and guessing. I had a general idea about Beau but not his backstory, the big surprise was Brooke’s backstory, holy moly, I never would have guessed that in a million years. Brooke was on her way to her friend’s cabin and was completely unprepared for the upcoming storm, then her dies leaving her stranded in the middle of nowhere with no cell signal. Luckily, she sees smoke and heads that way to find help. What she stumbles upon frightens her at first but turns out she found someone to help her, a super hot lumberjack. Unable to travel or get help for her car because of the storm, she is stuck there and Beau is stuck with an uninvited guest, not that he ever has guests since he is more of a loner. Standoffish at first, but he warms up to her before things start to really heat between them. I loved how everything played out in this book, it is a wonderfully written and plotted story with plenty of drama, angst, some surprising twists, heartfelt emotions and a steamy romance. Gwyn McNamee, thank you for this great story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Lee Daniels and Bryant Walker did a fabulous job bringing these characters and their story to life. They have a complete understanding of the characters they are portraying, gave each a voice that fit the character’s persona perfectly, sounding believable and just as I pictured the characters to sound. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they captured the character’s emotions and projected them into their performance. These talented and versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this great listen.

Fun listen!

If you are looking for a take on Beauty and the Beast mountain man style, look no further! I love retelling of fairy tales, and even if this isn't exactly that, I was taken in by Beau, they quiet lumberjack. While a man of few words, a lot of secrets and knows how to cook a squirrel, he is quite a catch. But it was not what Brooke was looking for. She was looking to escape and getting lost during a blizzard lands her right there, with Beau. She too comes with secrets, but she is not ready to tell them. As these two hunker down for the weather, Gwyn McNamee weaves a thread of passion and healing for these two broken souls. But when Brooke's past comes to the cabin, will Beau be there to help? I loved every minute of this listen. It's fun and flirty, funny and romantic, and the love real. This is one not to be missed!

This book is not only a good story, but the narration is perfection. Lee Daniels and Bryant Walker could not have been a better pick for the characters. They fit the personalities of Brooke and Beau and made this listen come alive. Loved these two together and hope to hear more from this team.

Brooke and Beau

This was a good book but not as good as I was expecting based on the blurb. Brooke's vehicle dies and she was following smoke to hopefully find a house. Beau finds Brooke when she was stumblng through the woods in the snow. If Beau had not found her, she would have died in the huge snow storm that was coming. Both of them were hiding huge secrets. Lee Daniels and Bryant Walker did a wonderful job with the narration.

yes and yes

Okay first, this title - yes and yes please! Told in dual point of view from a great narrative duo - Daniels and Walker who did an amazing job bringing our main characters to life. Our storyline starts with main character Brooke being lost in the midst of a snowstorm she's ill prepared for. She stumbles upon our male lead Beau who makes for a striking if fearful sight. Beau is secluded and for reason although we don't learn that until much later. Brooke has more going on that she's willing to admit - but again - we find out more as the story of these two broken, but strong characters continue. Captivating from the start with danger coming from every direction, these two form a connection and bond that they both need to survive the world. A heartbreaking yet hopeful listen that is sure to please! Definitely looking forward to more from McNamee

Billionaire Lumberjack

This book starts off with the FMC Brooke is running from a traumatic experience. Her car breaks down in a snowstorm. She has two options. First option is to hike back down the mountain. Her second option is to try to follow the smoke and find help. She stumbles upon Beau chopping wood. She passes out due to hypothermia. Beau brings her back to his house and revives her. They are stuck at Beau’s house during the snowstorm. They are both hiding their true identities from each other. Beau has not been off his mountain for ten years, until Brooke. Lee Daniels and Bryant Walker did a great job narrating this book.

Lumberjacks in Love Series

Billionaire Lumberjack ( Lumberjacks in Love Series, Book 1) gives a divergent take of the Beauty and the Beast fairytale with a moun·tain·eer. I was intrigued from the beginning as both mc's have secrets. Characters are complex and compelling. A entertaining and romantic listen.

Lee Daniels, Bryant Walker dual narration was highly entertaining and brought the characters and their romance to reality.. I enjoyed both narrators inflections and performance.

Good listen!

Having picked up Ms.McNamee's work before i've been wanting to get into more of her books. Ever since i stumbled across the post for this audiobook i wanted to listen to it. I started listening to it and got right into the Lumberjacks in Love world! I so enjoyed this listen!

Having listened to both Lee Daniels and Bryant Walker i was so happy when i found out these two would be narrating this story! I really liked how quickly i was pulled in by their voices and this story. From keeping things in, to the wanting, and feels, Lee and Bryant definitely captured Brooke and Beau so wonderfully with their narration. I can't wait to listen to more of Lee and Bryant in the near future!

Beau and Brooke's journey captured my attention! These two are brought together in quite the memorable fashion, As Brooke gets stranded in the storm and happens upon Beau hacking away to get some wood. Can Brooke and Beau manage to get through the snowstorm together as attraction blooms? or is it too risky to everything that keeps them guarded?

I really liked the different way Brooke and Beau were brought into each other's lives. As these two are stuck together, i didn't quite know how they'd handle the close proximity during the snowstorm. I wasn't sure what all to expect in this listen which i enjoyed! Both Brooke and Beau had me feeling many different things throughout! They'd both been through things in their lives and i enjoyed the humanness it brought to them as characters.

With Billionaire Lumberjack, Ms.McNamee has created a good story with feels that will keep your attention! Plus the narration from Lee and Bryant was so great! I am so looking forward to getting more from the Lumberjacks in Love world!

I enjoyed it!

This is the first book in the Lumberjacks in Love Series. Brooke and Beau‘s forced proximity romance is passionate, funny, and fast-paced, filled with mystery, and interesting twists and turns. They are both great and enigmatic characters. The story is told from both POVs, which is great. Lee Daniels and Bryant Walker did a great job with the narration. Looking forward to more in the series. #TheFlock

Excellent Standalone

I have recently discovered Gwyn McNamee and I'm loving her books. She writes well with great storylines and wonderful characters. I really wasn't ready for this story to end. I only wish it had been longer.

Lee Daniels and Bryant Walker are excellent narrators. They are newer to me. They brought this book to life with emotional performances. Easy to listen to and smooth voices. Perfection.
