Disappointing
Well, book 2 didn't really bring anything extra to the duet from book 1. I was still pretty bored throughout. But I did appreciate the development and growth that some of the characters seemed to have in this one.

Audible review. Dual POV. Beautiful Illusions Duet book 2. I didn't enjoy the narration in this book as much as I did the first book even though the same narrators were used. Second chance/age gap romance. Cameos from The Sin series couples. Trigger warnings: miscarriage; blackmail; catfish; paternity of a baby is kept from the father.
Maxwell Paden Hutcheson (aka Hutch) & Caitriona Brooke Louden (aka Lou) found their way back to each other and the epilogue finds Hutch & Lou married w/5 children: Ava Rose, 12; Paden, 10; Bonnie, 8; Alec, 5; James, 2; plus Lou's pregnant. JP

Brilliant
Brilliantly written with an epic storyline. This book will consume you, devour you and pull every emotion out of you. Such a fantastic story that is not only unique but truly beautiful, passionate and unforgettable. One of my all time favorites, and one of the best books out there.
