About this listen

I sold my soul to a man I hate. Now, he owns me.

I had a plan: Sign a contract, and board a plane to Ibiza. The anonymous deal would salvage the smoldering wreckage of my life.

It would not involve billionaire Harrison King, the reason I need saving in the first place.

He’s as beautiful as he is cruel. A British business titan who makes a living getting what he wants.

The man flies private. Dates supermodels. But the crisp accent and cocky smirk don’t fool me. He’s a gentleman on the outside, a savage beneath. Dangerous, rough, and brutal.

Because after my attempt to publicly stand up for those who needed it....

He destroyed my reputation.

Now, he’s come for the rest of me.

Except it’s not salvation he’s promising. It’s nights in Ibiza, under his roof, rules, his control.

I can’t back out. No matter what he has in store for me.

Harrison King knows my secrets....

But kings keep secrets, too.

Beautiful Enemy is an enthralling, explosive romance from USA Today best-selling author Piper Lawson. You’ll want to binge Harrison and Rae’s entire addictive story.

Great start to this story

Rae and Harrison's story is intriguing, I am having so much fun hearing to this audiobooks narrated by Shane East and Samantha Breitmoor, who did a fantastic performance portraying their characters, the production was overall good, can't wait to listen to the next ones. As for the story, the plotline has me hooked, it started a bit slow, but then it picked up, having Rae as being a DJ is refreshing and original, I really liked the idea.

Beautiful Enemy

A great story by Piper Lawson.

Rae and Harrison I met already in the Rivals series and I love that they got their own story.

The story is captivating from the beginning. Can't wait to listen to book 2.

The perfect start to an enemies to lovers series!

Beautiful Enemy is book one in the Enemies trilogy and is the age gap, enemies to lovers romance of Harrison and Rae.
If you have read Piper’s Rivals series, you will recognise Harrison King and Raegan Madani as friends of Tyler and Annie and will recall their first meeting in ‘A Love Song for Dreamers’ didn’t go well at all and since then has only gone from bad to worse and they have become enemies.
Rae, a deejay who is so good at her craft finds herself blacklisted from every major club in America so imagine her surprise when she lands in Ibiza and realises, she’s at the mercy of the man who she not only despises most in the world but the guy who derailed her budding career and to make matters worse she’s also staying at his villa so can’t escape him. Will her month-long stint in Harrison’s club salvage her career? And will she last the month under his roof without killing him or climbing him?
Harrison, a hot successful British guy with clubs across America and Ibiza. However, one Raegan Madani, the woman who, even though she’s the best friend of his friends wife, has become the bane of his existence and has caused a shitstorm for one of his clubs so he decides to exact his revenge by black listing her from any decent clubs in America and tricks her into playing a month long residency at his club in Ibiza to get the crowds back in and have her stay with him at his luxury villa. Will Harrison live to regret his decision, or will Rae do the unthinkable manage to increase the numbers coming into the club?
Shane East and Samantha Brentmoor bring Harrison and Rae to life and my goodness, these two perfectly complimented each other. Samantha brings all the snark, sass and sex appeal as globetrotting deejay Rae and Shane perfectly portrays the moody, brooding, stick up his ass alpha hole.
I loved this first instalment in what is shaping up to be another incredible series by the insanely talented Piper Lawson. Ibiza is such a beautiful place and as the weather has been lovely here in England, I listened to this laid in the sun in the garden with a cocktail in my hand and as I live by the seaside, if I closed my eyes, I could almost trick my brain that I was in Ibiza…almost!

Never read Piper Lawson before.

As I love happy endings, this wasn’t really for me. Her writing style is good but her ending didn’t do it for me.

loved this Audio book

5*
Harrison & Rae cross paths when she performed at a club he owned. After an incident happened there she's determined to be the voice everyone hears.
Unfortunately others aren't keen on supporting her.
A chance opportunity to work again leads her to ibiza, but things aren't as she thought.
I'm enjoying the pull between these two and can't wait to read "beautiful sins" the next book in  the series.

So Good!!

I just finished the audiobook and I loved it! The narration fit the characters perfectly. The voices were age appropriate and the performances were great. Rae and Harrison clash from the first minute they lay eyes on each other making for some very sizzling encounters. They have an instant dislike but also an undeniable pull to each other. I loved how they both changed with each interaction. They are both carrying a lot of baggage around and I can’t wait to see where this story goes.

Exciting New Series! Fantastic Story & Narration🎧

This is an amazing start to a new series, and Piper Lawson definitely penned another winner of a story. She is a gifted author with a wonderful writing style. I love how complex and layered her stories are and her ability to capture my attention and hold it hostage for every one of her books. If you have not gotten a chance yet, be sure to check out her other series, her “Wicked” and “Rivals” series, which I loved. The lead characters of this book made appearances in “Rivals”, Rae is Annie’s friend and Harrison King, a friend and colleague of Tyler. Harrison is a billionaire and businessman with his hands in the entertainment industry. Rae is a DJ playing in high end clubs, she finds it is a man’s world and she has to put up with biases and no all men play fairly. After a scandalous incident, which she blames Harrison for, she is trying to start over and takes a job abroad in a club in Ibiza. Problem is her new boss is not so new, she is stuck with Harrison as her boss once again, even worse, she has to deal with him every day. I admired Rae’s strength and determination to stand up for what she believed in. Harrison turns out to be so much more than his reputation and I loved watching these two go back and forth and then compromise. I loved how everything played out in this book, it is a beautifully plotted story with plenty of drama, angst, heartfelt emotions, some thrilling suspense and a slow burn romance. Piper Lawson, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride. I am looking forward to what comes next for Rae and Harrison.

🎧📚🎧And for the wonderful narration, Samantha Brentmoor and Shane East were the perfect cast to bring these characters and their story to life. They had a complete understanding of the characters they were portraying, gave even a voice that fit their character’s persona , sounding believable and just as I pictured the characters would sound. Brentmoor played Rae’s role with perfection, she grasped every side of her personality, her strength and her fierceness, she is also amazing covering the other roles, including male roles, accents and all. Shane East’s Harrison was spot on as well, he too grasped all sides of his personality, from a man with an alpha-tude to a caring softy. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and projected them into their performance. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another amazing listen.

Amazing !!

OMG This Audiobook is PHENOMENAL !!I
Now I read this story a while ago and I Loved it.
Piper Lawson is one of my favourite authors, her books are Always Amazing.
So it goes without saying that I Love the characters she creates and I Love Harrison and Rae.
So when I began to listen to this Audiobook,I became quite emotional..lol..
Samantha Brentmoor and Shane East ARE Rae and Harrison !!
To hear them reciting this book to me washed over me like the warmest of hugs.
They are both an exceptional talent and perfectly told Harrison and Rae's thunderous Romance with ease. When I first heard Shane speak as Harrison,I completely melted,I honestly had a hot flush !!..lol.
Rae and Harrison are combustible believe me,Enemies that are unequivocally attracted to one another, and who are opposites in every way.
Rae is a D.J...Trying to make it big in the music industry and Harrison is a Billionaire night club owner and a ruthless buisness man.....And Rae is the woman who decided to take him on.When allegations of an assault at one of his Night clubs comes to light.Rae with all her sass makes the call to confront him about it ,much to the detriment of her career.
There is so much Push and pull between these two they are a great match, great at sparring verbally and great with all the sexual tension and steam.
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book, and I highly recommend it.
Just Brilliant.

Rae & Harrison! The beginning!

Piper Lawson, I am in love with the way you write! This is the beginning of Rae and Harrison's story, and it's fantastic! We met Rae in the Rebel's series, and now we get a look into her life. She is working on fixing her reputation as a DJ, always changing her look and enjoying that chance to hide herself. Harrison is the man who has created this mess. And now he is going to make her life even worse. Making a deal to honor her contract, help her roommate and repair her life, Rae moves into Harrison's house and is working to make his nightclub a success. What these two find though is flawed souls that together may be the healing that they need. But in true Lawson style, life is never easy. Harrison's past is interfering with his life, both personally and professionally and wounds are reopened. Rae is quite a character. I love her individuality and ambition. She is a fantastic friend, and a need to stand for what is right. Harrison is unexpected. A billionaire, he definitely carries himself high, but he is just a man, and it's refreshing to get to know him. The cliffhanger is enough to make me scream at the top of my lungs looking for the next part of this amazing series. Bring it on!

Add to that the narration team! Samantha Brentmoor is Rae, edgy and full of attitude. She can be mouthing off in one breath and seamlessly change to a soft emotional woman. Love her man voice too! Shane East carries that air of importance as Harrison, but his flaws and pain are evident in his voice. This pairing is perfect for this trilogy and I can't wait to hear more.
