Summary

The gripping new thriller from the best-selling author of Saving Sophie.

Stephanie is scared for her life. Her psychologist, Connie Summers, wants to help her face her fears, but Connie will never really understand her. Stephanie's past has been wiped away for her own protection. Stephanie isn't even her real name. But then, Dr Summers isn't Connie's real name either.

And that's not all the women have in common. As Stephanie opens up about her troubled relationship with her brother, Connie is forced to confront her own dark family secrets.

When a mutilated body is dumped in plain sight, it will have devastating consequences for both women.

Who is the victim?

Who is to blame?

Who is next?

Gripping and tense, Bad Sister will have fans of Sue Fortin, B A Paris and Linda Green hooked till the final moment.

Its beginning to drag now....

Have to be honest - I nearly returned this one as the narration has driven me to distraction. Accents are dreadful and the phrasing is over dramatic. However just when I thought I couldn't listen to it anymore, the story seemed to buck up.
So I have stuck with it
But it is dragging on and on - I want to know what is going to happen but I still have 2 hours to go..........
Will keep going but will probably avoid this author and narrator in future.

Too long

Not a bad story but I didn’t care about the characters , who were shallow and one-dimensional. Annoying narration.

Overlong.

Not terribly well written or especially well read. Could have been a much shorter book without spoiling it. Not one I'll listen to again.

solid book

A good story very well performed. Despite being a psychologist Connie was written as a normal flawed human, not constantly analysing herself unlike other literary counsellors! I enjoyed the story although the end felt somewhat rushed. The threads were revealed at a steady pace throughout but it seemed like the word count was suddenly restricted for the tail end of the book. Worth a credit though.
