Summary

When widowed Amelia Smith takes a fallen soldier into her household, she is shocked to discover he has no idea who he is. Determined to help him recover his memory, she embarks on a journey that will change and endanger them both.

Working out whom and what he is brings back painful memories to Marco. The only constant in his life is his burning desire to take revenge on those who tried to steal everything from him. As his memories return, he needs Amelia Smith's calm good sense more than he ever anticipated. Can a relationship begun in such an unorthodox fashion blossom into love? Especially when the lady is hiding secrets of her own.

Best Narrator

I enjoyed the book...but what most impressed me was the narrator for this whole series. Excellent accents; emotional yet not overdone.

I Loved this Book

I have loved listening to all the books in this series. The narrator was brilliant & how she managed to keep changing accents without hesitation made listening all the more enjoyable.
I was really sorry the series came to an end.
I wild definitely recommend all the books.

Good series

We'll drawn characters and an interesting story. The narrator was quite good but I find I prefer male narrators.

But what about...

I feel like this book was written to just wrap up a story, that was kind of started in book 1, but really never wraps it all up. . Seriously a soap opera story has more depth then this entire series has.

Our Hero finds himself in England after 5 yrs of being somewhere, he doesn't remember. She is a lonely widow so they hook up. Great. But like all the other books in the series, we are introduced to characters but things are never wrapped up. Are Marcus and Jack redeemed for their supposed past traitorous activities? What about Marcus's brother? And his illegitimate brother? This book tells us Elizabeth, from book 1 has 3 brothers, what? wait? Where did #3 come from, it has always been two? so there are some inconsistenties with the story. Book 2 ends with Mrs Forrester and Jack's brother being turned over to the Duke, but this book doesn't wrap up that story.

The whole series is lazily written. Luckily, there are all free as part of the Plus Catalog, Otherwise i wouldn't waste my credits or money on purchasing them.

Historical fiction

This story was okay. It moved along and i was not really bored at any point. Narration was good.
Just not an ‘exciting’ plot.

Intriguing story, stellar sex, excellent narration

I've listened to all four books in the series and found them all to be intriguing and the narration excellent. The sex scenes are some of the best I've ever listened to, and the story itself was not at all predictable. I found all four books well worth paying for, so I'm very pleased that they are included in my subscription.

Best Book in the Series!

I really enjoyed all of these books, but I thought this one was the best in the series! This one had an excellent story line and wrapped up the events over the series well. I honestly wish there were more books that talk about their lives after these initial books. The narration was also well done. Would highly recommend!

Whose that guy?

Third full book in the Diable Delamere series. The main make characters have been involved in government intrigue and military schemes. In this story Marcus shows s as we English soil after disappearing following an ambush. Marcus is referenced in Book. 2, Redeeming Jack. This tome continues the intrigue started in the first story. It focuses on the love story Marcus and Amelia while solving the mystery behind the ambush in Spain. Looking forward to more.

Great series

I love this series! Each book has a unique storyline but it is still very intertwined with the previous stories. I especially love that the author does not retell the entire previous book!!

A Fun Series

I am enjoying this author’s works. It was hard to tell Jack and Marcus apart in this recording, and the women were also very similar. But it’s well-performed and I will continue the series.
