Summary

Excellent
Excellent story, great narration, well rounded characters evocative descriptions of Sicilia mixed with a good dose of humour. Very much looking forward to the next book in the series.

Loved it !
I enjoyed the story , it wasn’t fun , easy to listen to . Narrator was also good felt like I was in Sicily. I would recommend abd I am going to download the others in the series.

Great cozy mysteries - give it a shot!!!
very good - if you like stories of sunny holidays and classic mysteries such as death in paradise you will love this book! hope they translate the rest of the series soon!

Enchanting
I’ve just listened to this book while on holiday in Sicily and loved the references to places, history and food. It’s fun. Lightweight mystery novel but most enjoyable.

A good yarn!
Nice easy listening. An amusing mystery set in the beloved Sicily, with lots of references to good food and beautiful places. I really enjoy anything narrated by Matt Addis.

Dire
I don't usually leave bad reviews but felt I had to here. The narrator is okay. It is what he has to work with is the problem. It told through the nephew of the main lady. Who is Germen but goes to live in Sicilly. There is a murder. But eighty percent of the book is the food she eats. Her sex life and her many thoughts on friends Very little about the job in hand. Oh and the odd Italian word is thrown in which we are supposed to know . It is slow and turgid. I gave up 4 hours in. Will try to send it back. My advice? Don't bother!
