Alice is turning 30 and is stuck in a rut. Her friends are all coupling up and settling down while she's still working as a temp, trying (and failing) not to shag her terrible ex, getting thrown out of clubs and accidentally sexting her boss....

She decides to throw caution to the wind and jets off on a round-the-world adventure to #FindTheFun and find herself. Of course, she's no more likely to find the answer to true happiness on the beach in Thailand than she is at the electric beach in Tooting, but at least in Thailand there's paddleboard yoga.

An easy listen. I enjoyed it for a bit of escapism. Very funny and great narration

If you're like me and listen to these stories on headphones while out and about, be prepared for strange looks when you literally LOL uncontrollably. I couldn't pause this story at all and pretty much listened none stop. Beautifully written with a protagonist that I could really connect and relate to. A funny, entertaining story, with really deep undertone.

a fun storyline and read with brilliant voices of characters and expressions throughout. I like the subtle references to dealing with abusive relationships that many women suffer but stay silent feeling trapped. this book nods to the empowerment of women in a fun way with a interesting, exciting storyline mixed with romance, friendships and travel.

I couldn't finish listening to this book. its quite badly written and I'm not prudish but in trying so hard to be funny it just came across as a bit far fetched and crass. Not for me and thats not great seeing as I use audible to listen to books as I fall asleep so tend to miss a fair amount of most stories.
