Summary

Monsters. Mayhem. Minimum Wage.

Marble Springs is a town with a hundred missing persons cases, a lake harboring a blood-thirsty monster, and a second-generation serial killer on the loose. When undervalued city employee Abe Barret begins to see the dead, he discovers the loss of his family is linked to these unsolved disappearances, and he only has days to solve it, before his time is up.

There are a lot of ways you can go in Marble Springs, and none of them are pleasant.

Welcome to the City of the Dead!

Funny, sad, and scary!

This book has everything. A tongue-in-cheek take on small town life, corrupt cops, and horror. I loved the cast of characters and didn't want to leave Abe behind.

great horror book

I really enjoyed the audiobook of Apartment 239.
The author combines a lot of things in the book so you get a steady amount of dark humour balanced with a glimpse of the depraved dark side of humanity.
Tackling the subject of grief, ghosts, large creatures, delusions and small town corruption, it creates a ripe background for a fast paced supernatural horror that will captivate you.
