adventure
The narration of Jonathan Waters is perfect.
The story is about Rose whose sister, Lily is missing. She asks Jake help find her .There is , lots of suspense, action, drama was a surprising twist at the end leaving it open for the third book.
Their adventure takes them to some lesser known pyramids of Egypt, the Denver airport and on to the Grand Canyon.

Great story, which keeps you listening
A great follow up to Blood Codex, again following the adventures of Crowley and Black. This time they get involved in an ancient Egyptian cult. The story is fast moving and gripping and keeps you involved right up to the end. I do however wonder why an English narrator wasn't used for the book. Waters makes a good attempt at an English accent, but the voices are a bit stilted and odd to an English ear, plus a lot of American pronunciations for some words, which jump out to an English listener.

Anubis Key
Anubis Key by Alan Baxter and David Wood pulled me in immediately. I have always been drawn to stories with Egyptian mummies and pyramids. This book appealed to my imagination and sense for adventure. The story was fast paced and the descriptions painted vibrant images in my mind. Jonathan Waters was great bringing the characters to life. I really enjoyed this listen and will listen to more by this author and narrator.

Still loving this series
I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
This was a great follow up to the first book. The byplay between Jake and Rose continues in this book and the action is fast-paced and fun. The narration is also still great. All in all, this is a fantastic action/adventure series well worth your time and credits.

Love this series
Not my preferred genre, until now. Jake and Rose have made a spot for themselves on my shelf for good. First book was good, this one is great. Love the narrator, I only hope he is in the entire series.

More Occult Fun with a Ancient and Secret Society
Another rock solid performance on a somewhat predictable mystery once again involving our now familiar protagonists: Jake and Rose. When Rose's sister goes missing, she seeks out Jake to help and the team soon lands in America where the mystery starts to take on some occult overtones. There is not a lot of waste in this fairly quick story and the heroes are a very likably team that gives you a feel good vibe by the end. In other words, this is pure escapists fun and well worth a listen (even if you don't have the previous books).

Really Enjoyed This book !!!
Not really experienced at writing reviews, but I really enjoyed this book. It was well done, awesome narrator and kept me interested throughout. Had all the qualities of a good mystery. Any book that keeps me interested to the end has to have something going for it. Give it a try. This is book 2 of a series of 4.

Good story!💜
I’m really enjoying the adventures of Jake Crowley but I really liked book 1 more. In this storyline the connections and leads seem a little too far out there. But I’m excited to see where each clue leads and I absolutely love the bad assery in both Jake and Rose. The narration is fantastic. I think that Jon Waters has a way of giving us all the emotions and the feelings of each character. I can’t stress this enough, he has a wonderful female voice.
This book is continuing to book 3. I’m ready for more adventures and I recommend this book/series.

Unbelievably dull, badly written and dreadful dreadful narration
Ordeal to finish. The narration made an awful script excruciating to listen to. Avoid this one.

Anubis Key
Wow!Just wow! This was fast paced and full of intrigue. Jake gets sucked into a mystery surrounding an airport that is not quite what it seems. With horrendous murals and giant Anubis statues, this is not an ordinary airport. Rose starts the bowl rolling by hiring him to find her sister,Lily, who is missing. Jonathan Waters was a fine narrator.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.'

A great sequel
Our team of accidental detectives teams up again to save someone... and so traipses about the world examining - and borrowing- historical items. Again, a stand-alone novel with few references ahead or behind, a great plot with some big twists, and lots of action.
