Very Helpful and Valuable Listen

This audiobook is one of the most helpful audiobooks when it comes to what triggers parents anger. It also talks and works thought on what effective anger management is and how to work through it. I like how the audiobook explains the positive and negative effects of anger. It even talks about the different types of anger and how can parents prioritize and to manage their anger in a healthy way with kids. Overall it's clear, direct and an easy to listen and it's for people that need this information (especially parents trying to build and have a healthy relationship with kids).

Hit home!

An excellent nonjudgemental book on how to heal! I absolutely loved the author's tone and found the advice practical. My favorite section was on how to not hold on to guilt. Anger is often accepted in the household, and this book will give you strategies to manage your emotions in difficult times. I also love ht narrator's voice, a joy to listen to.

Essential book, and eye-opening!

Amazing book, perfectly fit for parents with a busy and stressful life, especially with the frustrations that come with this difficult role. We start losing our temper with so many details to take care of, and that's when this book comes in. Not just by increasing self-awareness of feelings and self-control, but also by giving great guidance to the toddlers, within their limitations.

No More Angry Parent

Having read countless Anger Management books as I have over the years had quite the short fuse I think this book has to sit at the top of the tree. For me chapter 3 is the most important as this will teach you to understand where your anger comes from and the various ways your anger is triggered, The book breaks down across a few chapters techniques for if you lose your shit with your kids but as per their age (i.e. young child, teenager)  so this was something I really liked because I know from experience that one size doesn't fit all when it comes to anger..  It's all in all a fantastic self help book if you are struggling with the red mist while bringing up your kids no matter what age they are.

Great Way For Health Relationships With Your Kids

As a parent myself, I know how challenging it can be to navigate the ups and downs of daily life while trying to raise happy and healthy child. That's why I was drawn to the audiobook, and it did not disappoint as it was jam packed with ways parents can manage their own stress and emotions, while also connecting more deeply with their children. The author does an excellent job of explaining why we get triggered and how our reactions can impact our kids. What I appreciated most about this book was the practical advice and exercises that were provided. From mindfulness practices to communication techniques, and modelling positive behaviours for our kids, all useful tools that I could apply in my everyday life. Highly recommend!
