Summary
Lessons hard learned last the longest.
Creswell Springs' biggest man-whore, Raider Hannigan, one of Angel's Halo MC's most notorious members, wasn't for me.
After years of him holding my heart, I had seen the harsh light of my reality.
Raider would never want me...or love me.
With a firm resolve to move on, I wouldn't give in.
Only one moment of weakness came back to bite me. Now I had a secret.
No one needed to know the depths of it all, especially not him.

Didn't want to love it but...
Raider was one of the characters I originally didn't like, but he grew one me bc of his love for Quin. The major reason I loved the book is bc of what happened to Tanner and Warren, not saying I loved what happened to them, but how emotional it got me. It actually made me cry, esp to see the love the mc has for each other. Another part are how the Vitucci series family is mentioned! I started with those books and was pleasantly surprised to see them here too! On to the next book~

My favorite book of the series
This is my favorite story in the series. Raider starts to grow on me throughout the series and this book brings out a whole new side to him. Quinn is such a sweetheart, but also feisty as heck and doesn't put up with much. The relationship between Quinn and Colt, Quinn and Raider, and Raider and Colt all get addressed in this story and it's so good

Problem with the term “My Female”
The biggest problem with this series is the reference “female” instead of woman or even ole’ lady. Here’s why: By definition, referring to women as “females” reduces them to their reproductive abilities. That sounds a bit degrading, don’t you think? In addition, a “female” could be anything, not necessarily a human. Your dog might be a female. Do you really want to lump your girlfriend and your dog in the same category?

Return to the drama
And I was here for it. We stopped having random chapters in a POV for people not in this universe which was something I appreciated. It is a series you wanna keep going with because every books ends on a dramatic note and you know there will be more ups and downs to come with both the main focus couple and all those on the sides as well.

Raider and Quinn
I loved Raider and Quinn's story. It's even better now that I can listen to their story. The narration is perfect because of the different POVs in the story. Fantastic job everyone!! This is the first Terri Anne Browning book that I've listened to and it won't be my last. Well done!!

Intense!
Things are getting hotter between the MC and the italians. Romance, better said unrequited love is all around.

Female narrators ruin this
Seriously.. still with the female narrators who's idea of a male voice is the sound of a frog croaking... The main female character sounded like an 18 year old girl... Instead of the 25 year old virgin she was (because this is fiction folks) Once again going with Miss Browning's virgin vs motorcycle club whore man, rinse repeat... I am a virgin.. all you other women are sheep, whores and bad to poor little virginal me.... Seriously... Even free this isn't worth listening to...
