Jolly old England, where death has created an island of misfit zombies mutating rapidly in bizarre, deadly ways. The creatures have formed tribal groups intent on ending humanity permanently.

Two hopeful survivors of the apocalypse, Mac and his young friend Wilkes, are on the run from a brutal regime of slavers, and the bright spot in their lives is reading the lost journals of Michael Talbot, living vicariously through his sensational, hair-raising exploits.

In this journal, Talbot and his squad are tasked with another dubious rescue mission, one more difficult than they've ever faced and with far more at stake than just their own lives. Though the primary objective has failed, they are met with an unexpected mission, granting them access to a higher purpose and a burning hope that still exists.

But the strife never ends, and one day it will all be too much for Captain Talbot, and the cracks are starting to show. How much battle, how much loss, can one man take and maintain what's left of his already damaged sanity?

Sean Runette is a wonderful performer able to bring you in by is role acting, his ability to make the story attractive
The story is with a different approach bringing the new into the old, with Mark Tufo s ability to create the series of all series.

came across this about a month ago when mooching through audible freebies, the first 7 were included in membership, quite the bargain, I thought. ha! I've ended up buying all the rest and throwing myself into the story night and day. I was excited to see that there are still books in this series being written by Tufo and come my next credit this month, it's going on pre-order. these books are so much fun, thank you Mr Tufo 🙂

one of the most exciting books yet. I love it. superbly read by Sean van dyke, he really does bring these books to life. I'm hooked.

Love how these stories intertwine, I stopped Dystance 2 the minute this was released and I shall go back to that now!

The Tufo “world” of books has been a part of my last 5 years and I’m about to start ZF from the start again after finishing Dystance. First time to do a second read of a series..
