About this listen

The world of man was brought to its knees with the zombie apocalypse. A hundred and fifty years have passed since man has clawed and climbed his way from the brink of extinction. Civilization has rebooted, man has begun to rebuild, to create communities and society. It is on this fragile new shaky ground that a threat worse than the scourge of the dead has sprung.

One man finds himself once again thrust into the forefront of a war he wants nothing to do with and seemingly cannot win. Follow along as Michael Talbot attempts to thwart the rise of the werewolf.

Another awesome dose of Talbot

Would you listen to Lycan Fallout again? Why?

Yes. Most definitely. I love Mark's books. The characters are so real-life that they almost become friends. This new series, although just starting out, is no exception. It's going to be a good one.

What did you like best about this story?

Talbot! I love his irreverent outlook on life(or unlife). I usually listen to these books while travelling and there are many times when I have had to stop the car until the giggles have passed (or the misty eyes).

Which scene did you most enjoy?

BT's descendant. Won't say any more but it's really funny.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Marks books always engender a full range of emotions. When a character dies, it is like losing a real friend or if something good happens, it lifts your spirits.

Any additional comments?

Come on Mark. Let's have book two.

Just the best narrator for these books

I hadn't read the zombie books but that didn't matter as this is a stand alone series in its own right. moving straight on to book two as this ended too soon.

Mark Tufo does it again !

What made the experience of listening to Lycan Fallout the most enjoyable?

The combination of Mark Tufo's writing and Sean Runnette's oratory skills continue to shine through as absolute brilliance in this off shoot story of the wonderful Zombie Fallout series. The story is well crafted and well back dropped, the change in the irrepressible Mike made me even want to slap him and say get on with it. Classic story telling and utterly wonderful narration from Mr Runnette

Who was your favorite character and why?

Mike Talbot is a legendary character from Mark, flawed in so many ways and yet never afraid to be the first in danger and try to save the day, in a world were most good will has disappeared following the desolation of the Zombie Fallout, the new danger rises and Mike reluctantly, flawed, brilliant and heroically, still plunges in to help again and try to save the very unworthy mankind.

What about Sean Runnette’s performance did you like?

Sean Runnette's performance is outstanding, I could not listen to the series or any Mark Tufo book without him now, the perfect blend of story telling brings out the best audio story telling I have heard, and I have well over 100 audio books from here now, he just sucks you into the story and masterfully immerses you into it and makes you fall in love with the main characters.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Without a doubt wanted to listen to this in one go, was so annoyed I had to go to work after a long trek up the motorway listening to this, just could not wait to get out of my meeting so I could begin listening again !

Any additional comments?

Mark Tufo and Sean Runnette are the Audio book equivalent of Nirvana for a man that has listened to far to many distinctly average offerings from other authors and orators !! Classic and so under praised.

B f***in T

Although it says the book is a stand alone book, it also says it is of the same timeline as zombie fallout series, so why in zombie fallout does BT mate with Michael’s sister and in this it says he leaves and finds a mate. Other than this oversight from the author, great listen.

Fantastic!

My first lycan zombie vampire story on Audible. Wasn't sure at first but checked out the reviews and bit the bullet. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Storyline, narration and the constant humour from Talbot made me laugh! Over time I will get the whole series.

another fab story

Not sure I was going to like this given Talbot was the only character from the original series but it was really good once again. Tufo draws you in and once again you're on another talbot adventure! loved it.
