Summary
Kenna
My father shocked not only me, but everyone around him when he announced his retirement. He isn’t just any man - he’s Jorge Vernon and Miami bows down to him. In most cases, his role would pass down to his son, however he doesn’t have any, and that leaves only one heir - me.
He knows how much this city means to me, it fuels my fire and the people here matter to me more than anything.
There’s a catch though, he isn’t just handing me keys to the city. I have to rule alongside one of two men that my father has hand-chosen for me. Oh, and they’re brothers.
But what happens when enemies rise from the unknown? When people that you thought you could trust turn out to be the ones you should have feared in the first place?
I thought this would be easy, but it turns out that it may end up getting me killed, and possibly the two men who I’m supposed to pick between.

Strong Men....Stronger Women!!
Kenna - the only daughter to Jorge Vernon(Daddy), who is retiring from leading the streets of Miami. Ideally they want a man in this role so Kenna needs to step up to the plate and show these men she's not afraid to step over them or on them to take her rightful spot as the leader.
Daddy insists Kenna rule the city along side one of 2 twin brothers. When word gets out Jorge is retiring, threats and bullets fly and Kenna has to remain strong to show she's up for the job even if it kills her.
I really liked the strong savy character Kenna was in this book....I look forward to her BFF Winny in another book. She seems like she's got more spitfire than Kenna but not as much class. Looking forward to it.
Logan McAllister did a terrific job narrating this story to the point you actually felt like you were on site when some of the events took place - fantastic!

Action packed, edge of your seat romance
Kenna is set to take over the streets of Miami after her father retires. Since this should really go to a son, her father makes her choose a brother to rule by her side. When she chooses Phoenix, things go haywire and the action picks up. The suspense in this book is intense. I found myself not able to put this book down. I was on the edge of my seat and holding my breath during intense scenes. I loved all the feels I felt as I listened to this book.
Logan McAllister is a great narrator for this book. He makes the suspense so intense. Mr. McAllister was able to keep all the characters distinct and separate. I found it very easy to follow the story, and I got pulled into it. I enjoyed his narration of Phoenix. Phoenix is a strong, alpha male, yet Logan narrates him to have strong emotions. Logan McAllister brought this story to life.

Wow
Such a strong female character who knows just how far to push. This was a fantastic story with plenty of suspense, which was amplified by fantastic narration. A strong 5 star book

Against all Odds.
Loved listening to the audiobook, the story was well written and the characters were intriguing. Phoenix runs an MC and his twin brother Ascher street racers the twins have not seen eye to eye on anything they even hated each other. Kenna has been given a choice by her father, with choosing one of the twins to marry to help run the business. There was a lot of emotions, adrenaline pumping, action packed that does keep you on the edge of your seats with the twists and turns. I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend buying the book or audiobook, it is so worth it.
I loved listening to the voice of the narrator, he made you feel you were there.

Woman Pres!
Wow Kenna is bada$$ I mean holy moly do not mess with this lady. There are some hot Alphas in this book and some real ignorant bad guys. I was captivated by this story, I didn’t want to stop listening. I loved the characters and their MC. I have never listened to a book where a female has any say in an MC, so this was kind of cool. The narration was terrific, I definitely recommend this book.

Good Listen
Kenna is a strong woman who knows what she wants and not afraid to go after it. She chooses Phoenix and he is an alpha who is not afraid to let his woman take the lead. She is taken and now Phoenix is ready to tear the city down to find his woman. Full of chemistry and action.

Captivating
Captivating story, I had already read the book and I was looking forward to listening to it too, it was really good to hear it come to life. though I prefer dual narrators, Logan didn't do a bad job of portraying Kenna.

Great MC book
I love when a book shows both sides of a story. I really like when the heroine of the the story is a bad ass that don't take no bull. I enjoyed this book and can't wait to read/ listen to book two. Logan McAllister did wonderful job on this one.
