Summary
The Argeneaus are back! New York Times best-selling author Lynsay Sands returns with another sexy, passion-filled romance about everyone’s favorite vampires.
Immortal Enforcer Valerian just wants to relax. His last assignment had been more grueling than he’d care to admit, and golf has always helped him unwind. If golf course owner Natalie thinks it’s a little odd for him to tee off at sunset every evening, she’s keeping it to herself. The single mom is sexy as hell, and her little daughter Mia only adds to his delight. He knows Natalie is wary of a relationship of any kind…. What will she think when she discovers he’s an Immortal? His best course of action is to woo her the old-fashioned way.
But the course of true love never did run smooth—especially for a vampire and a mortal. And when danger stalks Natalie, Valerian realizes he’s playing a game of life and death and if he loses this round, he risks losing her forever.

love the book
As always I love this series. The narrator however was a mixed bag. Don't get me wrong she's great but when she tried to do a Scottish accent it was so bad it was distracting. advise would be if you can't do accents don't. there were also a few sound quality issues. overall would recommend, just be prepared for some slight distractions. 8/10

Considerably predictable 🙄
While I do love Lyndsay Sands books, this one was really predictable. I knew who the bad guy was VERY early on and all the mundane cooking and talking about cooking and eating, well, only made me hungry.
At the end of the book, I was worried more about the dog than the protagonist. That statement will be clear at the end of the book.
Not saying this was a bad book, I've read much worse, but wonder if just a little less time on certain things might be a thought. Overall three stars. ☆☆☆

I love this series.
l have listened to every book in the series. waiting breathlessly for the next one. I love the character and their individual personalities. I hope there will be more books to come. I know I'll never stop listening. Lynsay Sands is my favorite romance writer.

Predictable and the ending was underwhelming
I have read many of the Argeneau novels, I loved the early ones, but the more I read, the stories are getting very predictable and not very exciting. The previous two I read were also just "OK". I was hoping things changed.

Vanilla Storyline j
Not enough mysterious and threatening situations. Too much agnst from a 200 yr old experienced person. Not an honest character for the supposed level of his desperation for a eternal partner.

Another Immortal Enforcer Meets His Match
Sands delivers yet another entertaining installment of the Argeneau series. My
only criticism was the rather abrupt conclusion to this immortal romance.

Good story
I enjoy almost all of Lynsay Sands books and this one was very enjoyable my only complaint is that the ending was a bit anti-climatic.
