She did it again!
I wondered what she could possibly build with these characters (I just adore Dick and Jane). I didn't think I'd fall for Ben & Meghan in the same way as I did the first lot of crazies in Halfmoon Hollow. Sure enough, introducing someone who can snark WITH Jane was a godsend. I just wish Molly Harper could write faster!

Really Good
"Big Vamp on Campus" needs to be listened/read to before this episode to provide background.
A good series and this visit to Half Moon Hollow is no exception. It also includes characters from previous stories and a lot more from Georgie .
Molly Harper's writing and imagination is great and not just with this series and coupled with the performance skills of Amanda Ronconi a must.

YAY Ben!
Very happy he has finally found a happy ending 😊
And let's be honest, his parents are right.
This one was long overdue.
But I am very sceptical of they really can keep the secret from here on out.

The best listen in awhile!
I loved this book. As always Amanda Ronconi's narration is always spot on. This story is refreshing. It's so funny. Megan and Jane's dynamic is honestly one of the bests. Ben is charming. Dick is always a kick. I really recommend this book. It's a seriously enjoyable listen.

A great addition to a wonderful series
This book is one of my favourite Half Moon Hollow books. It has the perfect mix of, adventure humour and romance and even more humour. The story itself is brilliant and the characters are wonderful. I will say that you should listen to the Jane Jameson books and the rest of the Half Moon Hollow stories first because this is a series that works best in it's written order.
Many of the wonderful Half Moon Hollow characters feature in this book and they are as great as always.
Ben (remember Ben? Gigi’s sweetie of an ex) is at a college party and meets Megan. They have a great time, a toe-curling goodnight kiss then arrange to meet for a date. Then an accident occurs and to prevent her permanent departure from the corporeal community Megan becomes a member of the undead.
I love the fact that this book includes so many of the people introduced in previous books. I even warm to Ophelia in this book. (shocking I know!)
The writing of this whole series has been so cleverly done and the Audio books perfect marriage of Molly Harpers writing and the wonderful Amanda Ronconni’s narrating is a match made in book heaven.

You should know what to expect by now
Having listened to all the books in this series I had a pretty good idea what to expect in this one, and it doesn't disappoint.
I love the characters and the happy world that Molly Harper has created around Jane and her friends. I'm even starting to warm to Ophelia.
This one has all you expect - a girl with attitude who has a rather unexpected turning, a romance that has a bit of trouble to start with, and of course, baddies who are evil and ultimately incompetent. Whats not to like.
Only gave the story 4 stars because its not quite as good as some of the books in this series but anyone who liked the others is bound to enjoy this.
Amanda Ronconi is just perfect as always
Just need Molly the get typing and write the next one now!

Why do these books have to end???
Seriously, why? I am ridiculously emotionally invested in the Half Moon community. Molly Harper's writing and Amanda Ronconi's narration is addictive. I would be happy to have a daily play by play Journal of their lives to listen to everyday. It's not a healthy addiction but so much fun!

I love Molly Harper...
This book was just not the same as other Half-Moon Hollows. All of this author's stories are so fun, funny, and exciting. This wasn't bad at all, just lacking as compared to the last one I read. I'm seriously a HUGE fan, yet this one just seemed like it was too much rambling.... Still a very good book, but not what I'm used to! I love Molly Harper and will continue to buy all of her books! We're allowed to have one that isn't our fave!

Well, I think this is the last one of the series.
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
I have enjoyed this series, but sadly, this is the weakest one. I found Ben irritating in the previous books and he is only moderately more interesting in this one. Was it worth the time? I'm on the fence about that. I think Ms Harper has lost interest in writing about Half-Moon Hollow's residents and it shows.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
Meh.
Which character – as performed by Amanda Ronconi – was your favorite?
I love the Pocket Vamp :) Georgie is such a contained character, and Amanda Ronconi plays her perfectly.
What would have made this romance irresistible?
Less formulaic writing and plot development. ANOTHER kidnapping? Really?
Any additional comments?
It's nice to have this series all tied up, but it ended right after the holidays and Ms Harper had a lot of comedic opportunities (gift giving by Georgie and her first Christmas with people other than Ophelia, for instance) that she didn't take advantage of, yet we had to endure a luke warm sex scene in a field. I'd rather have had the comedy.

Another good story from Half Moon Hollow
I do enjoy Ms. Harper's stories, and Amanda Ronconi is becoming one of my favorite audio book readers.
This book does not disappoint, though I did see the twist at the end coming from a mile away.
I really liked that we got a decent amount of interaction with Georgie this time. She's a fun character. Ben does seem like "Jamie lite" to me, but Meagan more than makes up for it. This book is really about her, not Ben, btw.

This series is full of quirky characters
Listened for Fun (Audible)
Overall Rating: 4.25
Story Rating: 4.00
Character Rating: 4.50
Audio Rating: 4.50 (not part of the overall rating)
I love Half-Moon Hallow! The series is full of quirky characters, bat-sh*t crazy scenerios, and so cram packed full of humor that I find myself bursting out laughing at least once every 30 min (Hey I listen so I can time that). While the main characters in this one ( Ben and Megan) were a little on the New Adult side for me (sorry college romance just isn't my thing) they were still really fun. Plus all my old favorites were back and up to general hijinks that made me giggle. Seriously though, even for a young couple they weren't too angsty so they earned major points for that plus they were both geeks so I totally rooted for them :) :)
This was a total blast to listen too! Amanda Ronconi really brings Molly's writing alive. I do admit that this outing with a huge cast of the main characters, I thought Jane's voice sounded different and Megan sounded more like I was used to hearing Jane so there was a bit of an adjustment for me at the beginning. Afterwards though it was off to the races and I adored it (as usual).

Pointless title, joke of villians, and pathetic.
I am not all a big Molly Harper fan. But this book has the serious feel of being phoned in... All the normal "Harper" elements were present to a good book. But first the entire "Accidental Sire" title and self help book was ill planned, Megan was poorly portrayed and prevented from attempting to be a Sire. I know it is accidental sire, but the entire concept was poorly used or expressed. So I felt the entire theme of the plot was lost. Add to that the joke of villians and conflict. Since when is a lone human able to take out a team of specially train strike team vampires. Overall I felt that this could have been a good book if Harper had given the plot, characters, and theme more thought. In other words she tried to play off our sympathy over a " Foster kid" character, to hide a poorly concieved plot.
