Simply gorgeous
What an absolute joy the Trials of Fear series has been. Whatever Nicky James sets her mind to we can be sure of outstanding writing, thorough and accurate research, humour, angst (dollops of it), a fair dose of tears, and love… always love.
When I heard that Ms. James had managed to again procure the services of the fantastic Adam Gold to perform… because that’s exactly what he does - perform each and every character from the author’s Trials of Fears series - I was thrilled to bits and the anticipatory wait was so worth it. Every single person featured is clearly delineated as previously, and totally recognisable. It was honestly like slipping into a room full of old friends and taking up where one had left off a few months previously. Like wrapping oneself up in a warm blanket and settling down to simply just listen, observe and feel a part of something special.
The boys are all back together for Krew’s Christmas bash. Poor Max… he just has to hang on and go with the flow as his saucy, naughty boy, Krew, manipulates and plans the party to outdo every party ever organised. Krew thinks he has all posts covered - of course he hasn’t… but then that’s just part of the fun
Sit back and enjoy the ride as this fabulous epilogue to one of the best series I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading and listening to unfolds. A Very Merry Krewmas is full of humour and love; a coming together of people who share a common ground and who therefore understand each other completely. This book is not to be missed, but sadly, if you’re reading this and are tempted, you will almost certainly enjoy some of the story - because Krew’s antics ARE hilarious, but it’s necessary to know the background information on all of the characters to understand why they behave the way they do. Highly recommended to Nicky James’ Trials of Fears fans.

❤️ Magnificent Krewmas ❤️
Absolutely brilliant spending Christmas with Krew couldn't stop laughing it made me so happy love catching up with all the guys from the trials of fear series by Nicky James and in this special Krewmas Adam Gold narration is simply outstanding for all the guys I love all of them and krew the sass the fun and banter love the Chapstick game and Santa the perfect Christmas present recommend so much. ❤️

such a fun listen 💜
This has been such an emotional series and I'm so happy Nicky wrote this story because it feels like they all feel lighter and settled and Krew does so well at keeping them together. He is determined to have the perfect Christmas celebration with his partner and all their friends but comes with lots of ups and downs. This was light and sweet story but also full of steam and so funny. The narration was so spot on. Adam Gold really made Krew's personality come out and I was laughing out loud several times. I wish I had a Krew in my life. I loved listening to this.

Fantastic as always
being back with krew and the guys from the trail of fear series was absolutely the perfect place to be and Adam gold brought us a fantastic performance as always
I laughed so much I just love krew and the gang and Adam gold is the perfect narrator for it
the nicky James Adam gold combination is just perfect
