"A rollicking, romantic tale of love and intrigue in aristocratic Victorian Scotland. Sarah Ferguson’s fascinatingly detailed novel kept me turning the pages as it’s very entertaining." (Dame Joan Collins)

"A fantastic historical mystery with plenty of passion as you would expect from the Duchess of York. A triumph." (Roma Downey OBE , New York Times bestselling author)

Another enjoyable book

Really enjoyed this second book by Sarah Ferguson Duchess of York. Her narration along with Ell Potter was excellent. As much as I loved this book, I am so glad that females have advanced over the years. But loved the gentry style of life from my armchair all the same. I am sure I will get book number 3 when it comes out. I would recommend this book

Good effort

I preferred the first novel but this is quite enjoyable. It feels a bit like a series of short stories involving the same characters, The narration is good but a bit over enunciated at times.
