Summary

Madeline Collier, a young, widowed socialite in 1876 Denver City, Colorado, finds solace in charity work and fundraising for a local children’s home. Although her days are full, she longs for her home to be filled with the laughter of children and a husband. In the meantime, she submits the paperwork to adopt an orphan, but is denied because she isn’t married.

Peter Townsend, a widowed newspaper man from Philadelphia, moves west to escape his past and begin a new life. When he meets an acquaintance from home, he decided life in the west might be tolerable after all, until the past catches up with him.

Will Peter agree to a marriage of convenience with Madeline, or is there true love under the mistletoe?

Like all of Jean’s books, A Home for Christmas is a sweet and clean romance that will warm your heart and fill you with hope.
