About this listen
This book elaborates on the story of “The Parable of the Prodigal Son.” This version talks about a young man who, having asked his father for his share of an inheritance, squanders it and in fact learns his lessons the hard way. His friends leaves him; he becomes a criminal, almost gets arrested, then finds a job as a cleaner of the pig's pen. Having suffered a lot, and with no food to eat, he eats the pig's feed and even has to sleep in their pen. Then a realization hits him as he thinks of going back to his father and asking him for forgiveness. He goes back home to his father, who is filled with joy to see him. He, in fact, throws a big feast for his lost-but-found son.
