Story
Love Is a Verb takes his teaching to the next level. Rather than a typical marriage self-help book filled with lengthy explanations of principles and techniques, it is a compilation of true stories displaying love in action. These stories - written by everyday people - go straight to the hearts of readers, who often say that illustrations are the most effective parts of a book. Gary Chapman adds a "Love Lesson" to each story, showing readers how they can apply the same principles to their own relationships.

Thoroughly enjoyable
I laughed, I cried, I was moved to change. I fell in love with Robin McGraw throughout this audiobook. She started out reading the book a little rushed, perhaps because she was a bit nervous. But it didn't take long before she settled into the flow of reading her story and that was when it came to life for me. I was taken on a journey with this remarkable woman. She is so grounded and many times she made me take a look at certain parts of myself and my life that I have not been happy with. Since reading the book I have taken some of her advice and the changes I have made have brought me the peace and happiness I was searching for. This book is both entertaining and insightful. At the end I was left with a sense of sadness that our 'get togethers' (what I called the time when I would listen to her) were over. I know I can always go back and 'visit' Robin's life story again, and I definately will, but at the moment I am eager to listen to her new book too.

Great insight
A very insightful look at women and their relationships, as well as a look at humanity through the eyes of a woman. A woman's intuition is often thought to be an old wives tale, but it is a true phenomenon. It is difficult to explain, but I KNOW it exists because my female intuition has lead me in the right direction many times. Robin, thanks for sharing some of the chapters of your life. I will apply, within my own marriage, some of the things you pointed out regarding the differences in women's and mens view points.
