Summary

After personal assistant Kiersten Abbott wins sixty-nine million dollars in the lotto, she suddenly has more than enough money to quit her impossibly demanding job. But where's the fun in that? She decides to stay and exact a little revenge on her insufferable ass of a boss.

Billionaire Cole Harrington quickly figures out something's afoot with his usually agreeable personal assistant. When he finds out about the office pool betting on how long it'll take him to fire her, he decides to spice things up and see how far he can push her until she quits.

The game is on, with everyone waiting to see who will crack first. But the bet sparks a new dynamic between them, and soon they realize they just might have crossed that fine line between hate and love.

Couldn't put it down!

So the plan was to start listening to something new for a couple of hours whilst I finished off some work.. I ended up staying awake all night listening to it! I couldn't stop. It is such a great story! So funny and full of hilarious curveballs that I just couldn't stop listening! I will definitely recommend this book and will definitely be listening to this several more times!

laugh out loud fun listen

This book was so much fun to listen to. I was belly laughing on many occassions. I'm so glad I decided to listen to this. The only negative is the long dialogue at times. The story seemed to stall with these lengthy delays and I became bored and wishing to fast forward like I would an add on a TV program I have recorded.

Funny fun book

I really enjoyed this book. It was a fun story and it flowed well. I had to get used to the narrator not really changing her voice much, but it did not take away from anything. I'm going to buy whatever this author has available now!

so funny, I loved it

This was a fantastic book. I don't think this could happen in real life and you could get away with it without getting fired, but such a funny book!! the characters were great and the narrator did a good job reading this book. I could listen to it over and over. you'll truly enjoy it.

I laughed soooooo hard!

This book is just what I needed. Executive Assistant Kirsten won the lotto. With about 69 Million on the way to her bank she worked her ass off to get fired. Her boss is an God awful. Kirsten decided to place a wager with the assistants pool to bet how long it would take her to get fired but unbeknownst to her the boss finds out about the wager and let the games begin 😂. I've never laughed so hard. Must read!!

69 Million Things I Hate About You

This was a perfect example of a great office romance. They were so fun playing off each other- Kiersten trying to get fired and Cole trying to make her quit. Both trying to outdo the other. There was great supporting characters too and I’m looking forward to the rest of this series.
