Esther Fleece Allen is an accomplished speaker and writer with a heart for helping people overcome adversity. She is passionate about connecting people around the world to practical, faith-centered tools for living through every season, whether it is marked by trial or triumph. Through the setbacks and celebrations of her own life – many of which she described in her best-selling book No More Faking Fine: Ending the Pretending – she resonated with men and women at all stages of life. CNN has called Esther one of “Five Women to Watch in Religion,” USA Today has named her one of the “New Faces of Evangelicalism” and Christianity Today listed her as “One of the top women shaping the church and culture.” Her insights into the aspirations of millennials have appeared in The Washington Post, CNN as well as in Barna Research President David Kinnaman’s book You Lost Me: Why Young Christians are Leaving Church and Rethinking Faith. She is also the subject of an I Am Second video documenting her remarkable grace journey. Esther has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from Oakland University, is a graduate of the Oxford Center for Christian Apologetics and is currently in seminary. Over the past few years, Esther has been given her favorite new names of “wife” and “mother.” When she's not traveling to speak or teach, she enjoys being at home with her husband and children.
